Nile Cruise & Aswan Tours

Aswan High Dam - Your Egyptian adventure kicks off as you arrive at Aswan Airport, railway station, or hotel, where a licensed tour guide will warmly welcome you. You’ll then be transported in an air-conditioned van to your luxurious 5-star Nile Cruise ship.

Upon reaching the cruise ship, you’ll have the chance to check in before savoring a delicious lunch on board. If you arrive in Aswan early in the day, the tour will start immediately, as cruise check-in usually begins at 12:00 PM.

Your tour starts with a visit to the High Dam, an impressive engineering feat completed in 1960. The High Dam serves to prevent flooding and generate electricity for the region.

Temple of Philae - Next, you’ll visit the Graeco-Roman Temple, a stunning ancient structure dedicated to the goddess Isis. Access to this temple is via a small motorboat, offering a unique and scenic experience.

After your temple visit, you’ll return to your cruise ship for a delightful evening that includes dinner, a folkloric show, and a restful night’s sleep. Prepare to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Egypt during your cruise along the majestic Nile River.

Abu Simbel Temples & Kom Ombo Temple

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - At around 4:30 AM, your knowledgeable guide will pick you up for an exciting excursion to Abu Simbel. You’ll join a small group for this adventure. By 8:00 AM, you’ll arrive at one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring sites: the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. These temples were uniquely designed and constructed for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari.

During your visit, your Egyptology tour guide will provide a comprehensive history of the temples from the outside, as guiding inside the temples is not permitted. You’ll have about 90 minutes to explore the temples, take memorable photos, and soak in the incredible atmosphere. Afterward, you’ll return to Aswan.

Around 1:30 PM, you’ll arrive back at your cruise ship in Aswan, just in time for a delicious lunch on board.

Temple of Kom Ombo - After lunch, your cruise will set sail for the city of Kom Ombo. Upon reaching Kom Ombo, you’ll visit the remarkable dual temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. After your temple visit, you’ll return to the cruise ship for a delightful dinner. The cruise will then continue its journey, sailing towards Edfu, where you’ll spend the night on board. Get ready to be immersed in the fascinating history and culture of ancient Egypt during this incredible journey along the Nile River.

Edfu Temple & Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)

Temple of Horus - After enjoying a hearty breakfast, your day will start with a memorable horse-drawn carriage ride accompanied by your knowledgeable tour guide. This delightful experience will take you to the remarkable Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned as the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. After your temple visit, you’ll return to the comfort of your cruise ship.

Esna Lock - As you relax on the deck, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the unique landscape and admire the breathtaking scenery along the Nile River as your cruise sails toward Luxor. En route, you’ll cross the Esna Lock, a fascinating part of the journey. A delicious lunch will be served on board, and you can enjoy afternoon tea on the sundeck, soaking in the beauty of the Nile.

Luxor Temple - In the late afternoon, your cruise will arrive at the dock in Luxor. From there, you’ll be transferred to explore Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor, where you’ll encounter a blend of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic influences. After your temple visit, you’ll return to the cruise ship for a delectable dinner on board, accompanied by a lively belly dancing show. You’ll spend the night in Luxor, savoring the rich history and entertainment of this remarkable city. Please note that if your arrival at Luxor dock is by 3:00 or 3:30 PM, there may be an opportunity to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Hot Air Balloon Luxor Take Off Site - Your remarkable day begins around 5:00 AM (with the option to adjust the time) when you’ll be picked up for an incredible hot air balloon flight lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Soar above the West Bank of Luxor and behold an aerial view of the country’s captivating landscape and famous landmarks. As the sun rises, it will cast its gentle light upon the open-air museum city of Luxor, illuminating the great temples and majestic mountains below.

Valley of the Kings - Following your hot air balloon adventure, enjoy a delicious breakfast and check out of your accommodations. Your unforgettable day continues with a journey to the West Bank of Luxor, where you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings. This is the resting place of pharaohs from the New Kingdom, who carved their tombs into the mountains in an effort to conceal their treasures and protect their mummies.
