Lempuyang Temple Excursion
The renowned Lempuyang Temple is widely known as the Heaven’s Gate.
Lempuyang is derived from two words - ‘Lempu’, meaning light and ‘Hyang’, signifying a metaphysical being who commands the cosmos, which essentially refers to God. Hence, lempuyang denotes the sacred light of God and the temple is also referred to as ‘the heaven gate temple’. The lempuyang temple is a series of seven Hindu temples sprawling from the base to the peak of the hill.

Tirta Gangga is a historical Waterpalace hailing from the Karangasem kingdom from many ages ago, characterized by its spring water which was used for the royal family’s bathing needs. It also features a large fish pond.

The Tukad Cepung Waterfall, a concealed waterfall, is situated in the Bangli Regency. It appears to be a hidden canyon amidst the cliffs.

Beautiful Bali - This tour was breathtaking! Every bit of this tour was its own special experience! The best part was not feeling rushed. My personal favorite experience was the waterfall. It was definitely worth the small hike. The early start is absolutely necessary, so don’t think about it. Just do it! And Wayan was an amazing guide, who doubled as the photographer of the photos attached to this review.

Great Tour - My guide, Wayan was very polite and helpful throughout the entire day. He even answered questions I had that wasn’t about the tour which was nice. Since I was doing the tour solo he was gracious enough to take my picture at all the different sites. He also picked a cute traditional little Balinese restaurant to eat at which was delicious. I had a great time on the tour!
