Highlights
- Athens - Starting from Flat Tyres shop, we’ ll cycle on the metropolitan Athens bikelane moving to the heart of the city. Kerameikos Cemetary is the first ancient site on our way. Next up, we are going to ‘get lost’ through the Psirri district. We will get to see the Town Hall, ‘Varvakios’ the traditional and biggest food market of Athens. Through pavement streets of Athens, we ‘ll find ourselves cycling through the unique Plaka district. Reaching Syntagma Square, we will see the Greek Parliament and we will ride though the National Gardens towards our next stops, Zappeion Hall and the Panathenaic Stadium. Leaving the Kallimarmaro we’ll get ride through the Zappeion, and reach the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. A couple of pedal spins will take us to the Museum of Acropolis located right under the sacred rock of the Parthenon. Time for a small break at the Filopappou Hill combined with a visit at Pnyka with panoramic view to Athens. Next stop, the Greek Ancient Agora and Ancient Roman Agora. We’ll ride through the open market of modern Athens in the area of Monastiraki and through the paved streets of Thiseio we will cycle back to Petralona.

Absolutely recommended - Absolutely recommend this guided bike tour; it’s a great way to discover Athens and learn more about its history. Stavros knows a lot about the city and he showed us some very nice spots. Bikes are in good condition and helmets are provided. Guaranteed plenty of fun!

Athens by bike - simply wonderful - We went out into the city with Jannis. It was a wonderful experience. Jannis was a sensitive, entertaining and knowledgeable guide. The bikes were OK and the bike tour was entertaining and recommended for everyone. When we come back to Athens we will definitely do another tour with Flat Tires.

Wonderful - We did the tour with Stavros! Superb.
A Quickstep overview of the city with good information. Stavros knows a lot, Spears very good english and can inform you about the city and Greek life, political and social issues. We enjoyed and recommend highly.

Excellent Bike Tour through Athens - We had a really enjoyable bike tour with Stavros, his passion and energy is great and he is super knowledgeable regarding the city. Great way to Explore Athens - The tour was fantastic. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable about Athens. We have not biked for several years and were easily able to keep up with the tour. The bikes were well-maintained and comfortable.
