Best walking tour ever - OMG Mary was the best walking tour guide I have ever had the fortune of experiencing!
Her knowledge of not only the history of Bayeux and surrounding area was masterful and the description of architectural history was spot on.
I took her off script with a couple obscure question about the area and she had the exact answer I was looking for.
Money very very very well spent. I'm led to believe her other guide associates are equally as gifted.

Amazing Tour of Bayeux - What an amazing tour of Bayeux we had with Christele! She was very welcoming to everyone on the tour as well as being very knowledgeable about the history of Bayeux. She made the tour extremely interesting with the history of Bayeux and how the town’s capabilities helped during World War II. You could tell how passionate and proud she is of this city and the very interesting history of it. This was our first trip to the Normandy region and we were staying a few days in Bayeux. We were so glad we went on this tour since we saw sites that we would not have seen otherwise and learned interesting bits of history we would not otherwise have known about. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Bayeux.

Do NOT Miss This - Best tour of historic Bayeux!! - This historic walking tour was the perfect way to learn all about the history of the beautiful town of Bayeux! Our guide, Christéle, was so knowledgeable and so personable. We learned about Celtic origins, Roman influence, the Vikings, Medieval life, the impact of the French Revolution and after, and of course WWII and DDay! Christéle shared many anecdotes and repeated things often (even quizzed us!) to help us remember. So much history and so many beautiful old buildings in historic Bayeux! If you’re visiting Bayeux for more than a day, or touring Normandy and just want to find out more about this lovely town, this is a must-do!!
Aside - I wanted to do this tour so badly, but was hesitant to book because my ability to walk any distance is compromised right now due to severe back issues. But there were a lot of stops and starts and I was able to keep up! So unless you’re using a walker or a wheelchair, I would encourage you to give it a try!

Way before D-Day, there's more to know. - After planning my D-Day / Normandy tour, I wanted to know more about the medieval history of the town of Beyeux, so I booked this simple two-hour walking tour with these very knowledgeable people I was fascinated at the thousands of years of history that predated D-Day and everything that this town had in its heart and soul long before it became famous in at the end of World War Two.
This tour was fantastic in demonstrating architecture history and lifestyles over a thousands of years in this small quaint place. We discovered things that I never would have noticed had I just been walking around the town waiting for my Normandy beach tour. This walking tour is a must see activity for anyone visiting Bayeux. And yes they show you battle scars (bullet holes) but the real tour starts in the second century.

Informative and fun walking tour - We had Christelle. She was excellent. Started on time. Engaging and shared a wealth of knowledge. Left having parts of Bayeux we would not have found and with a much better sense on the history.

Highly Recommended - A wonderful walking tour of a fascinating city. Christine was engaging, friendly, and thoroughly knowledgeable about Bayeux's history, avoiding the obvious facts we could find anywhere and sharing stories I imagine only locals would know. Highly recommend!
