Great Tour and Experience - Called in at several small restaurants and even went into a supermarket to discuss foods. Lucy was an excellent guide and explained lots in things about the dishes , the area of Beijing and the eating habits and changes over time . Highly recommend the tour - just skip lunch so you can enjoy the evening as there is lots to eat 😊

Knowledgeable- great food picks - Great food tour with Anson ! Plus he explained the evolution of hutongs. The selection of food types was terrific in terms of the depth and breadth of flavours and regional cooking of ChinA- from spicy hand drawn noodles, to hot kebabs and even donkey sandwiches. Recommended!

Food tour with a very nice guide and so much food that it's impossible to finish 😋 - A special kind of food tour! Miko was a really great companion. We weren't able to eat everything because we got to try so many different things and the portions were really big. We also learned a lot about life in China, not just about the food. I would book a tour with Miko again and again, he is a very special person! 🤗

Come Hungry - Do not eat, maybe within 24 hrs of this tour, and don’t feel bad about leaving leftovers. This tour has plenty of and great variety food. The history thru a real Beijing neighborhood house was very interesting to peak into the life of earlier Beijing families. The guide was very knowledge meant, kind and patient. We took a 10-2 tour, so wasn’t too interested, but plenty of opportune for local alcoholic beverages along the route.

Perfect walking/food tour in the Beijing hutongs with Andon! - Anson took me on a private walking/food tour through the hutongs in Beijing. He knows a lot about the history and knows the best places to eat the local Chinese food. It was very delicious and more than enough! He even bought some pastries for me to take home for my wife and brought me to the big lighted dragon at the lake for Chinese new year, which was actually not included in the tour. Thanks Anson, see you next time when I will be in Beijijng, I’ll definitely book the tours with you!

Love this tour! - We had a fabulous day with our tour guide Miko. Miko was a fun and enthusiastic guide who shared a lot of stories, history and insights with us not only on the delicious dishes but also on Beijing and its culture. Miko also spiced up the tour by his genuine sense of humour. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a real taste of Beijing city life and culture!
