Navy Seals Coming In! - The ride out was really exciting on the navy seal boat at 35 mph. If you want smooth sailing with drink in hand, this is not for you! We dodged some rocks and then came to the snorkling place. The surface was teeming with dolphins and below were thousands of incredible beautiful and diverse fish. We had plenty of time to circle the loop twice to catch a view of anything we may have missed. On the way back we got a chance to cliff dive: a perfect conclusion to a great 2 & 1/2 hour trip. Eric and his captain were engaging, whitty and gave a lot of history from the region. Anything less would have been boring and Captain Cook Adventures presented an encredibly eventful excursion. The pineapple was great too.

Amazing - Justin and Eric are great. The speed boat was tons of fun, definitely better than one of those bigger boats. It’s more intimate

Amazing experiences! - We did two snorkel excursions on the same day with Captain Scott, the Captain Cook daytime snorkel and the night Manta snorkel. I can’t give enough praise for how incredible these were! During the day, not only was our snorkeling amazing, but he made the boat ride so much fun and we saw two whale sightings, including one with an adolescent that was playing and learning how to breach the water! We did another Captain Cook snorkel earlier in the week with a different company, but this is hands down the one you want to use!

The ride to Kalekakua was... - The ride to Kalekakua was very bouncy as there was wind and good size waves, The place was crowded and you are constantly bumping into people from crowded tour boats. The coral was very bleached, sadly ,and the fish were not very plentiful maybe because the water was turbid due to wave activity, The crew was very nice and did their best.

Only 2 hours not 4 - Would give 5 stars, but it’s advertised as a 4 hour excursion but it’s really only 2 hours. They have people waiting at the docks for the next tour so it wasn’t cut short they just book this excursion for only 2 hours. Captain Ryan was excellent. Our kids had a blast. Small boat so it’s not packed with too many people. It would have been nice to know it was such a short trip.

Meh... - Snorkeling tour in mid morning. Some fish to see; nothing spectacular. Boat was small/no bathroom at all and despite ad saying there would be granola and other snacks, all we were offered was several wedges of pineapple. The boat has had problems which apparently the owner refuses to fix. Not much information of interest shared by the two staffers, who pretty much took us out, gave brief snorkeling instructions and took us back. Not very engaging.
