Beautiful adventure - a lot of driving. - Overall a very interesting tour and fascinating day. You spend a lot of time driving between locations. Our guide was a little disappointing - she had only done the tour twice and was lacking in some insider knowledge and was hard to follow at times. It also always seemed like we were running late and had to rush. It was not clear that while you stop for lunch it is not included in the tour ticket price. That said it was fantastic to get outside of Rome and see parts of the rural countryside and a very interesting part of Italys history.
