This excursion spans approximately 9 to 10 hours, taking into account pick-ups and drop-offs for those staying within the Sorrento region. Traveling one way to our destinations will likely take close to 2 hours. This day will be a memorable mix of cultural, historical, and gastronomical experiences. We will explore the marvelous archaeological site of Paestum, one of the best-preserved locations in Italy with its Greek-Roman temples(Note: A 2-hour guided tour is included). Our journey then takes us to an organic Bufala Mozzarella farm for a guided tour and tasting, this is the place where this cheese originates(Paestum area). Our final destination is a Cilento vineyard well known for its Aglianico grapes, which are used to make the renowned red wine, Taurasi. We’ll tour the vineyard and cellar, followed by a wine tasting that includes red, rose, white, and Riserva wines. These wines are perfectly paired with typical local products to highlight the wine’s distinct features.
