Hard, but beautiful hike! - We went hiking with Nikki and had a wonderful time! We got picked up at our hotel and Nikki gave us a history info sesh as we drove to the park - lots of interesting facts we didn't know! We stopped at a temple on the way up to the mountain top - Nikki shared some facts about Buddhism and we stopped for a few pictures. Next we met a park guide at the start of the trail - she didn't speak English, but Nikki was great to translate all our questions about the trees and plants we saw! The hike was a difficult trail at points - definitely not for young children or elderly, or those with low fitness levels - we are in our 30s and are fairly active and we found it challenging! (though I don't think Nikki or our guide even broke a sweat!!) However, the hike was beautiful - we saw many trees, flowers, butterflies and stopped at 3 different waterfalls. If you're looking for a good workout with great views, this hike is wonderful! Ask for Nikki :)

Outstanding Day - Wonderful day with our guide, Noom. He was a wealth of knowledge about Doi Suthep and answered all of our questions about Buddhism. Then we hiked downhill on a beautiful but steep trail. I had a mishap but Noom ensured I made it all of the way down. He told us about the plants and how they are used or eaten,
