Nice relaxed tour of Chiang Mai - We experienced the tour as very relaxed. Quietly cycling through the small streets of Chiang Mai, along the narrow canals and walking through the market in Chinatown. Along the way we were able to taste various Thai fruits, including durian. Our New York guide also tried to teach us some Thai words. We like that very much. Due to a stupid incident my husband was injured during the trip. The guide Mimi who rode behind was our rock and stayed with us during the entire visit to the hospital and even arranged food because we had missed it on the tour. Topper.

An easy ride through the secret Chiang Mai only known by local residents. - A great back roads tour of the secret Chiang Mai. Full of history, art and the market was amazing. Comfortable bikes and the dead flat terrain made for easy riding. The guides were friendly and helpful while in the background making sure everything went to plan. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who can ride a bike.

An instructive stroll - Nice itinerary, quite pace and great guides: a nice zigzag, mostly in the old town, carefully chosing quite roads, but passing by the nicest temples in the old town, thw market, Chinatown plus the silver temple. The last part, near the canal was also very nice.

TRULY AMAZING... THANK YOU MIMI!! - THANK YOU MIMI!! Amazing tour of Chiang Mai... ours was the shorter tour which took us through parts of the old city, visiting many interesting temples, the morning Market, and lots of other places. This is a very easy ride On very comfortable bicycles that sit very upright. I'm 64 years old, and it was a very easy and comfortable ride over 100% flat surfaces, with several rest stops. Definitely not to be missed. We took the morning tour which is from about 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There's an afternoon tour that is somewhat longer and goes to different locations. I definitely plan to take that one as well. These are not to be missed. Mimi is a great tour guide who is completely fluent in English and has loads of information about every place the tour goes. And just in case you're going to Bangkok on your trip, do not miss the Bangkok ABC tour. Even more spectacular! Have fun!

Highly Recommended Chiang Mai City Tour - Loved this bike tour! Mimi, the Van Kessel guide, was a delight. She does indeed get you off the beaten path in the neighborhoods and markets you visit and does an excellent job of explaining the culture and traditions of this lovely city.

Enjoyable early morning trip - Tour started early when it was cooler. Very easy to find where it started. Bikes were well maintained. Enjoyed the fact that most of the time was spent riding down back streets and alleyways away from rest of the traffic. Stops at the Silver temple, market and cafe were good and broke it up so we weren’t peddling for too long at a time. Going along the canal was pretty. A large group so not always easy to keep together and at one point several people were left behind, although there was one guide who kept to the rear, so able to take over and show the stragglers the right way.

Bit boring - Sushi was really great, told a lot and took the time and I really enjoyed seeing and walking through the market, we have just been to Bangkok and we thought it was fantastic... this route was a bit less so...

Very good tour. Inspiring and giving lots of insights - It was a very interesting, easy and inspiring tour. 2 markets visits, few Temples, silversmith workshop and a break with few snacks. Mimi, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, with good English, able to answer many questions and telling stories all the time! Easy to ride too - don't be afraid if you're not a pro! they choose the simple and quiet roads only. Huge Point to improve - snacks and drinks during the break - for such HIGH price (yes, it's VERY HIGH price for Thailand, especially knowing the food costs) they could have more drinks, fruits and higher quality (we had chips, few passion fruits and few rice cakes - 10 Baht per person maximum)

Compared to Bangkok it is a bit boring - After doing the bike tour in Bangkok, we found the tour in Chiang Mai a bit disappointing. We missed the energy and action that Bangkok had. We thought it was a bit of a waste of money. If you prefer a quiet, relaxed bike ride, I definitely recommend the tour.
