Highlights
- Abra Patapampa - We start the excursion at 3:00 am, We go to Patapampa, where we will make a stop at the impressive Mirador de los Volcanes, the highest part of our tour at 4900 meters above sea level, from this point you will get great views of the mountain ranges that surround Arequipa and the Colca Valley.
- Chivay - We headed to Chivay, located at 3630 meters above sea level; Here we will enjoy breakfast, and then embark on a tour where we will appreciate wonderful landscapes, pre-Inca terraces, as well as native flora and fauna.

Yanque - Visit the Town of Yanque, a traditional town, where we will observe the typical dance of the Colca Valley, the “Wititi” known as the dance of love, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
In addition, you can visit the temple of La Santísima Concepción de Yanque, rebuilt in the 17th century. - Mirador Antahuilque - On the way back, we will stop at the Huayra Punko viewpoint, in Pinchollo, and then at the Antahuilque viewpoint, in order to observe some models and pre-Inca hanging tombs. Likewise, we will observe the pre-Inca terraces.
- Mirador Cruz del Condor - We will arrive at the Cruz del Cóndor to observe the majesty of the Colca Canyon from a strategic point, as well as the flight of the Andean condor (Vultur gryphus), the largest non-marine bird on the planet, named cultural and natural heritage of South America.
- Maca - The next stop will be in Maca, a small and picturesque town in the region, where we will taste the traditional Colca Sour drink.
- Hot Springs Chacapi - We will visit the hot springs, where you can bathe and relax with its thermo-medicinal properties. Admission is S/15.00
- Chivay - We will stop at a restaurant to enjoy a free buffet lunch. All food options are traditional dishes made from Andean products
- Pampa de Toccra - We will make another stop at the Toccra Bofedales, where we will see camelids and birds such as Andean ducks and flamingos, as well as migratory birds.
- Patahuasi - The last stop will be in Patahuasi, to enjoy a panoramic view in front of Misti and Chachani with stone forests and curious rock formations.

A must do in Arequipa - We had a great day trip to the Colca Canyon from Arequipa. Our guide Franco was fantastic and made sure we experienced the best of the canyon. The highlight of the trip was witnessing condors soar in the vastness of the canyon. The included breakfast and lunch were good. This trip is a must for any tourists with some time in Arequipa.

Nice Trip with Great Views - The tour hit some nice places. The condor viewing spot at Colca Canyon was the highlight, but the other viewing locations were also impressive and the to German bath and small towns were pretty nice. The views were great throughout the drive. Magda was an excellent guide. The downsides were leaving at 3:00 in the morning and the drive isn’t great for people that get car sick.

Hire a tour from Lima for 3 days to see the Sillar Route, the Colca Canyon and the Salinas Lagoons - Totally satisfied with the tour offered by Puriy Perú Expeditions, the tour guides are of A-1 quality, very well prepared, attentive, empathetic, with a very high sense of service, as well as the drivers who are quite professional, in addition to the service. transfer is of excellent rating

You will be flooded with options but choose Puriy Perú - We had a fantastic day trip with our guide Abel and Maestro driver Larico. They picked us up from our hotel at 4am and we were back, exhausted but happy, by 5.30pm. We did everything promoted and more. Guide was second to none.

Good experience! - Good tour with beautiful views and a guide who is very prepared and passionate about the whole story.
I was prepared for the altitude but not for the extreme cold (-4C) at the viewpoint, at the first stopping point. I think the agency could have instructed us on this.

Good - Overall, a lovely trip with great impressions of the wonderful landscape. It would be better to spend more time in the canyon and skip the hot springs. Then you are more likely to get altitude sickness, as you are freezing when you leave the pools. The van we traveled in was unfortunately uncomfortable and quite cramped. However, given the opportunity to visit the Colca Canyon, I would recommend this tour overall.
