Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple - Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple is a Buddhist temple is unlike any other, especially in terms of its architecture.
While the outside of the temple is reminiscent of South Asian and Indian traditional design, the inside adds even more to the mix.
It has seen a deal of damage over the years. It burned down just 40 years after it was erected in 1617, and was destroyed again in the great 1923 earthquake. You will meet your tour guide at the main entrance of the temple then start to the tour. The tour does not include the tour of temple so please come earlier and see inside if you are interested in seeing it.

As you spend your time with us, meander through what the locals refer to as ‘Tokyo’s belly’, familiarizing yourself with the sights, sounds and, notably, the FLAVORS of native culinary art forms. Here, you get the opportunity to learn to prepare genuine Japanese dishes at Japan’s biggest cooking school, and conclude the tour by savoring your hand-made lunch.
