This tour is a must-do! - We did the food tour with Sandy and it was great. He told us a lot about Dubai, was very personable and also catered to our personal wishes. In addition, the food stops were totally delicious, authentic and so plentiful that we couldn't finish everything at the last stop. We felt well looked after all round and would book a tour with Sandy again at any time. 100% recommendation!

Unmissable tour of food and stories - Excellent !!!!! An extraordinary visit. Sandy's explanations were fabulous. He has a lot of historical and current knowledge of Dubai. The food we tried was exquisite. Unbeatable!!!!! We loved it!!!!! I hope we come back and do more things with sandy!!!!!

A Good History Walking Tour and you won’t go Hungry - Ikram was my tour guide and I was very appreciative that the tour was still going ahead when I found out I was the only one. Ikram was terrific with his knowledge and history of Dubai and had pictures handy to illustrate some of it. The charming restaurants that we visited and the food provided was awesome and it was hard work getting through all of it, in fact, I had to give up at our last stop in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood in a lovely courtyard setting where I was given a camel meat burger and couldn’t quite get through half of it I was so full. As we walked and ate, I truly enjoyed the great conversations that we had which made the evening all the more enjoyable. I also particularly enjoyed the visit to a shop in the spice souk where I had a delicious drink of tea with a cinnamon stick and saffron, the boat trip across the Dubai Creek and seeing all of the terrific work where the old buildings had been restored. I must do whilst in Dubai - We had a brilliant tour with Sandy. It was really informative and the food was plentiful and super tasty. My favourite was the chicken shawarma and the caramel milk, ice cream and the camel burger.!

Truly a great food tour - We really enjoyed our time with Sandy. He was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and personable. We had so many wonderful tastings, most were full size so we were stuffed by the last visit. We started with an appetizer that was a flat bread with egg and cheese accompanied by a cumin and anchovy sauce. We then enjoyed camel milk gelato (yum). Followed by a much needed walk, we had chicken shawarma wraps that were out of this world. More needed walk to a very nice waterfront restaurant for a platter with several samples. Our final treat was a camel burger, which was delicious too. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend this tour. Thanks Sandy!!

A Great Eay to See Dubai! - You get to experience the food of Dubai in markets and traditional cafes on both sides of the creek. The guide Sandy was engaging, proactive and very knowledgable. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Dubai and its foods.

Exciting, authentic, delicious: Culinary Tour with Sandy - A newspaper article drew our attention to the private tours with locals and we were immediately won over by the concept. We chose the culinary tour with 10 tastings through old Dubai with Sandy and were delighted! Sandy was punctual, very nice, open-minded and communicative and told us lots of exciting things about real life in Dubai. There is nothing better than first-hand information and tips, and a very relaxed private tour! The tastings in authentic restaurants were all delicious and so plentiful that we ended up "rolling" home :-) We can only recommend Sandy and will definitely book another tour with Sandy when we are in Dubai again!
