Our tour initiates with a stop at the El Alamein War Museum, where modern, digital exhibits offer an understanding of the North African campaign’s historical background and its significance. The museum displays various World War II relics and military equipment like tanks, guns, armored vehicles, maps, and uniforms. Journey through the sections allocated to each nation partaking in the war, gain insights into the tactics adopted by Montgomery and Rommel, and observe photographs and official papers. Tour some of the actual battlefields before heading west to the solemn military cemeteries and monuments. Our journey concludes at the Commonwealth War Cemetery, the final resting place for over 7,000 soldiers, and the grand memorials erected in honor of the Greek, Italian, and German soldiers who fell.
