- Heybeliada Island - The Princes’ Islands (“Adalar” in Turkish) are an archipelago in the Sea of Marmara, they are a small haven of peace in Istanbul and a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
During summer, we recommend you to get there on weekdays rather than weekends because they are invaded by the townspeople and the tourists.
They owe their name to the fact that during the Byzantine period the imperial family and disgraced aristocrats were exiled in the monasteries on the islands. They then became the favorite weekend destination of the Ottoman aristocracy, and even today you will find many Victorian-style villas.
The four main islands of the archipelago are B”uy”ukada, Heybeliada, Burgazada, and Kinaliada.

Trekking & Hiking Tour At Istanbul’s Princes’ Islands With Native Trekkers

How to Journey to Princes Islands: We’ll convene at our designated gathering place and then proceed to Princes Islands via public conveyance.
Anticipate the Following: Initially, you’ll mingle with native trekkers at the cafe, establish connections, converse and partake in tea or coffee. Post that, we’ll embark on our walking tour. You’ll hike approximately 12-14 km through the most captivating paths.
As we trek, we’ll take a pause for you to savor your Turkish coffee by the ocean. Additionally, you’ll get to converse with native trekkers, establish new friendships and interact with diverse cultures. The tour, including breaks, will span around 4 hours. As we wrap up our trek, we’ll stop at the local village café for some pleasant conversation. Eventually, we’ll take you back to the gathering place, leaving you with cherished memories.
