Discover the highs and lows of these paired districts and some of their most intriguing inhabitants, ranging from a notorious criminal-turned-children’s writer, fervent football admirers, Australia’s “Willy Wonka”, venerable First Nations elders and recent immigrants who have made significant contributions to modern Australia. We’ll wrap up our tour after delving into the area’s burgeoning arts and live music scene with a reenergising break, offering an array of suggestions for dining, imbibing and shopping post our expedition.
