Great tour - Our tourguide Einar was fantastic with great knowledge of more or less everything. The tour by itself was great when you have one day to explore the island. Thank you Einar for a trip beyond expectations.

Perfect day - Amelia made the tour very special. It was a wonderful day with weird weather and great views. We started at the secret lagoon and did the circle opposite of most people. This helped to reduce the crowds. I really appreciated this.

A twist on some of the other Golden Circle tours that creates a better timed, quieter trip. - This one seems to cover many of the same spots as similar tours but in reverse and with the lunch at the tomato farm. Those seem like worthwhile differences as the lagoon and national park were not as busy as we'd expected. Our host and driver, Fannar was funny, affable, knowledgable and a thoughtful driver. The small 11-seater coach was comfy and ideal for solo travellers like me as well as couples. The stops are well established on the tourist trail but its still handy to have a guide you can ask questions of. Not just about the specific locations but on Icelandic culture. I chose Hidden Iceland for another tour the next day and am glad I did - they clearly know how to do good small-group tours.

Golden Circle, Secret Lagoon, Tomato Greenhouse Lunch Tour - We had an exceptional experience with our knowledgeable guide Fennar. Enjoyed expansive, stunning views and waterfalls; secret lagoon with feet-soothing lava gravel (you'll see); and lunch at the tomato greenhouse (much cooler than it may sound). Highly recommended.

Golden circle tour - fabulous - Great golden circle tour with Martin. Super informative with a fantastic lunch at the tomato greenhouse. Stunning geyser and just jaw dropping landscape. Small group.

Fantastic day out to see the main sights - A great day trip, taking in the main golden circle sights but with the added bonus of a dip in the secret lagoon and a lovely lunch inside the tomato greenhouse (with a short talk about the farm). Our guide, Arne, was great, sharing information and stories as we went along. Our bus, (Freddy) was also great with huge windows, WiFi and comfy seats with belts. Getting to the secret lagoon early is great, as we avoided the very busy time. The stops in the afternoon were amazing, all the usuals on the main tour, so not particularly 'hidden' but the small group tour made it feel more personal. Thank you so much for taking us to see some of your beautiful island.

A 6-star experience with Hidden Iceland - We spent a week in Iceland with Hidden Iceland. They planned our trip from start to finish - transfers to and from the airport, accommodation, and all the tours we did. The week away was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had - Trip Advisor should create a 6 star category just for this operator. And it’s also a perfect destination for parents and their sometimes (?) difficult to keep entertained teenage kids. First the service - Agata (who organised everything) was really great. Her communication was excellent and she tailored everything to what we wanted, giving very good advice, including changing a day’s plans late on due to the eruption. Everything was on time and as planned all week and she always contacted us when she said she would. The accommodation options were also good - Reykjavik Saga and Fosshotel in Reykholt. Second the tours - we did two small group tours, ‘Fire and Ice’ and ‘Golden Circle’. Both were great days and our guides Ragnar and Chris knowledgeable, attentive, and funny. We’d recommend both of them. We then did a private tour for 3 days to places like Reykholt, on and in a glacier, to beautiful waterfalls, hot springs, a goat farm, and a stables where we saw Icelandic horses (tip: don’t call them ponies or you can offend people 😆). On the last day we went around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula - this was because the Blue Lagoon was closed due to the eruption - but we lucked out as it was stunning. I’d urge you to visit this ‘mini Iceland’. I want to save the best for last though - our guide for this part of the trip was Loftur - man and legend - I hope you are lucky enough to get him to show you around such a beautiful country. He stayed up late one night so he could call us when the Northern Lights came out - it means we saw them at 1am. Now that is 6-star service. I don’t usually write reviews like this but it was truly excellent. Thanks Hidden Iceland for the trip of a lifetime.

Some driving some walking/touring and some sitting still. Just a great combination of activities. - This was an amazing Trip! Our Guide Loftur was extremely knowledgeable, made the trip interesting and we had unlimited photo and video opportunities on this trip.
