Embark on a journey to one of Italy’s most magical terrains with our tour to Cinque Terre: a sequence of five villages, majestically suspended between heaven and ocean, acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Set amid dramatic coastal backdrops, the Cinque Terre paints a beautiful picture of softly hued domiciles, slender stone-paved lanes, petite harbors and terraces teeming with vineyards, olive and lemon groves. Start your day early as you leave from Florence by bus for Manarola, the starting point of our tour. Subsequently, travel to Vernazza, Monterosso and Riomaggiore via local rail and boat. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable day of exploring a genuinely natural utopia. Tour size is maintained at a maximum of 12 individuals for a deeper, more personal exploration experience.
- Giving the particular nature of the area, the standard itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, traffic, strikes, etc.
- The public boat service, along the Cinque Terre, runs from April to the 3rd week of October, subject to weather conditions
- When boats are not operative, connection between villages will be by train
- Due to the high volume of visitors and the nature of the area, during the high season the villages and the local train/boat, could be very crowded
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

Great day at Cinque Terre - Gabriele and Giovani were great! Informative, helpful, knew what to show in terms of views, secret passages, the recommended restaurant provided a nice meal. Bring flip-flops or water shoes for the rocky beach!!

Perfect excursion to Cinque Terre - Perfect day traveling from Florence to Cinque Terre. The tour leader, Frederica, was perfect. She kept us all informed on when/where to meet at each location. She purchased the train and boat tickets, so we didn't have to mess with any of those details. She also provided tips at each location on where to go to see what you were interested in. Could not have been better!

Everything perfect - Everything was great! From getting off the bus, to explanations, to trains between the cities of Cibque Terre, to free time. The guide Sebastião is attentive and the driver Paulo is patient. We love it! Besides, Cinque Terre is stunning!

Explored the history and sights of cinque terre - Gevonni and gabrielle were great! They did a great job of keeping us safe and we were always entertained! Very inclusive with all group members!

Great tour, professional guide and driver yeah. - Gabriele and Giovanni did a professional job on our tour.
There were some weather challenges and they both did a good job of Making changes to accommodate our group because of the weather.

Beautiful towns - Steven was guide and navigated the train times for us. Beautiful seaside towns with good food and shops sell similar items in each town. This is a fast moving tour so you have to ensure you are able bodied to get to the trains quickly and on time…lots of uphill! If you have mobility issues probably not the right tour.

disappointed - The trip was cancelled at the last minute with the only alternative being joining a group of 70 the next day or a refund. No opportunity offered to re-schedule. Did another trip from another company on Friday and know that it would have been impossible to manage a group of 70 and have an enjoyable experience.
The refund should be immediate. No refund as of yet.
