- Florence - Make the most of your time in Cinque Terre… Meet your tour guide at Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal early in the morning. Piazzale Montelungo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Santa Maria Novella train station. Find your seat on the comfortable coach bus, sit and relax, and prepare to depart for your journey to the nearby coastline! The drive to Cinque Terre will take about two hours. Throughout the drive, your guide will entertain you with plenty of interesting information about the famous views and villages on the way, as well as Cinque Terre and what to expect upon arrival. If you have any questions, your guide will be there to assist you.

From the stone-paved lanes of Riomaggiore to the eye-catching beaches of Monterosso, the Cinque Terre is a place of phenomenal beauty and this tour provides an immaculate illustration of old-fashioned Italy. A journey not to be missed featuring multicolored homes, a deep blue sea, and awe-inspiring views as your travel companions.
- Kindly note that the bus will drop you off in La Spezia or Levanto. Then you will move from one village to the other by train and boat. You will meet again your bus by the end of the day to make your way back to Florence.
- Kindly note that the Cinque Terre Semi Independent option does not include train and boat tickets. At the beginning of the day, you will be dropped off at La Spezia or Levanto, and you will have free time for the whole day in the Cinque Terre National Park. You will meet again your bus at La Spezia Centrale or Levanto in the afternoon. This option only includes a roundtrip transportation by GT coach to the Cinque Terre and back as well as live commentary during the bus trip.
- Please note that the boat ride will be available from April 1st until October 31st
- In the case of bad weather or rough sea, the boat will not operate. In this case, the boat will be replaced by a train route
- Please note that the given order of the visits may change in case of exceptional events as train strikes or road closures and disruptions

Amazing Journey - Detail info from tour guide, professional and on time. Reka drive very smoothly, Roberto explain the rule very clearly and Fredrico guide English speaker was very good

Cinque Terre day trip best of the best - Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip from start to beginning. We chose to have the included meal and trains and boat. Great day great weather, okay lunch. 10/10

Amazing Experience - My husband and I absolutely loved this trip to Cinque Terre. The area is stunning and breathtaking. We were very impressed with our tour guide, Daniella, who provided the right balance between information/support and independence. We loved exploring each town and the train rides weren’t too bad. We also got to go out for a boat ride which was unforgettable. This is a great way to see Cinque Terre - you will want more time but the company makes sure you see the top spots. HIGHLY recommend! It was a great way to break up our visit to Florence.

Great tour - Very well organized, we did the semi independent tour and thought it was wonderful. The bus ride out and back were very smooth and everything left on time. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area we were passing through and gave great tips before we parted from the group.

Another ticked off the ‘Bucket List’ - Commencing with a 2 hour, clean and comfortable bus trip through rural and Tuscan areas. Our guide Elizabeth gave clear instructions in both French & English setting out the day’s events. Trains left on schedule so it was up to individuals to arrive back on time at the meeting points at each fishing village we visited. Crowds made it difficult to keep together as we walked through the passage ways but the group looked out for each other. Each village was remarkably beautiful but the extremely steep terrain and limited space at some is not for the unfit or elderly. The boat trip was easily accessible and smoothly organised. Plenty of time for shopping, lunch and a swim. A lovely day. Sleepy journey back to Florence - thanks driver Mario .

All the villages were... - All the villages were beautiful, however the logistics of travelling between them was chaotic. Unfortunately, there was a big train delay after the first village which left a shortage of time at the other stops. The guide would only provide updates on times of train etc at each stop, so if you missed any stop you had no idea where to go for the following stop. He left our boat stop 5 minutes early, leaving 6 members of the group behind. Fortunately we did have a number of the central office on our stickers to be able to call and find out where the lunch was going to be. I would recommend the trip, but the semi independent category, and do a bit of research before you go. There were too many people for the guide to control.

Horrible tour guide - The tour guide Alissia with Ciao tour didn't care about the semi independent people. She said the meeting time is at 4:20 and she came with her group at 5 and did not say anything or apologize when she got to the bus. All of the semi independent people have been waiting in the bus even before the meeting time. The worst tour guide I've done in this trip.
