Fun active way to see parts of the city you might miss on foot! - Wonderful way to see spots around Florence we didn't know existed and couldn't get to by foot. My husband and I enjoyed this as part of our honeymoon. Our tour guide "Signor Professore" was clearly passionate about the area and was enjoyable to spend a few hours with. The fitness level required was not very high so don't be afraid if you think this is going to be all pedaling - while there are a few bills there are many stops and a gentle pace. And, you get to feel like a local riding around the streets!

Don’t book the optional extra tour!! - Right from the start the communication with this organization was haphazard. We emailed and had no clear confirmation that the tour was confirmed until we followed up. The 2 hour bike tour of Florence was good, but the manager and staff at the store were terrible. We chose the one hour optional extra to ride to Piazza Michelangelo… it was an extra 10 Euro and the impression was that it followed on from the 2 hour tour. However, that’s not the case at all, so be careful if you book it. We finished the 2 hour tour then no-one at all even looked like mentioning the 1 hour extra tour. They took our bikes and we then had to ask about the extra tour. It seemed a surprise to them and they told us to sit down, they had another tour to organize and they’d get to us when they finished that. After 15 mins, and no contact we asked the staff what was happening. We were told to wait, go for a walk, get a gelato and it would be 15mins. They already had our money, and couldn’t care less that we were waiting another 30 mins plus. There was clearly no one else doing the optional extra tour , but instead of asking us if we still wanted to do it, they seemed to be trying to squeeze it in (while we had other plans that were being delayed). They couldn’t care less once you’ve paid. We offered to not do the tour if it was too much trouble, but they just told us to wait. So we walked out, told them to keep our 20 Euro. Hope they’re happy they keep out extra money for doing nothing because we certainly aren’t happy!!
