A fun and intimate tour - I had a great time on this tour. The neighborhood is charming and the market was beautiful. Our tour guide was fun, enthusiastic, and very kind. I’d definitely take other tours and explore other cities and neighborhoods with Devour Tours. By the end of the tour I was full and tasted many flavors.

The perfect start to your Florentine day - The perfect start to your Florentine day! Lorenzo started our morning out with coffee & buttery pastries before we headed into the Sant’Ambrogio market to taste salami & wine & to learn why Tuscan bread doesn’t have salt. We went to a wine bar & drank some terrific Tuscan whites & reds & got to taste fresh out of the fryer coccoli. This tour gives you special access to a popular gelato spot & the chance to taste lamprodotto, a beloved Florentine speciality.

Do you like Chianti & Sunset walks over the Arno? - Do you like Chianti & Sunset walks over the Arno? Lorenzo showed us the quieter & more delicious side of Florence on this evening tour. We started in a cozy enoteca with Tuscan wines & cheeses & salami and then walked to a friendly trattoria (stopping to learn about the neighborhood & how to spot a genuine wine door) where we ate a perfectly cooked bistecca Fiorentina. There was pasta & gelato & more wine & cantucci too!

The best way to get to know Florentine cuisine! - This is one of the best food tours I've ever taken! Our guide, Lorenzo, was a gem! He is not only well-versed in Florentine cuisine and wines, but he shares stories and makes learning about it all so much fun! We all had a wonderful time together, eating, drinking and laughing. The tour goes beyond the touristy spots and you'll try truly authentic local products and wines (and olive oil!) I can't recommend it highly enough!!

Lesser known (delicious) Florence - I was unsure whether to have breakfast before this tour or not, and I am so glad I decided not to, because we ate so much! We started with the most amazing breakfast at a local bar pasticceria, then continued the tour at Sant'Ambrogio Market, where we tasted seasonal fruits and local charcuterie (my favorite was the finocchiona). We drank wine and ate more bruschetta at a local enoteca (wine bar) and had the best gelato in Florence at Vivoli. Our guide, Lorenzo, explained about the local foods, the culture, the traditions of Florence during the tour. It was a lot of fun.

Real tour food experience in Florence - This tour was a blast! It's a well-crafted local experience, where you start by getting to know the Santo Ambrogio market with all its colors and smells and learn the Italian way of food shopping, and then taste some of the most wonderful Italian delicacies in some of the most historic family-run bars and restaurants, yet not crowded with tourists.
