Highlights
  • Windsor Castle - The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history.
Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world.
It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King.
Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George’s Chapel. The Castle’s State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV.
Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.

history and nature combined! - This was such a well-organized tour! The bus was very comfortable and clean. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He provided a great overview of British history from the Mesolithic age (Stonehenge) right up to the near present-age and connected everything very well for us in the end. He also gave excellent recommendations for food, drink and coffee and provided enough free time for us to explore on our own. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Kevin.

Day Trip to Bath/Stonehenge - Kevin was a witty and knowledgeable guide! Gregg was our driver who expertly navigated the streets of London! We learned a lot and enjoyed the countryside scenery on the way to our destinations. Bath was a great first stop as we got to explore the town and try some of the best coffee in the world at Colonna & Smalls. Stonehenge was well managed and we had time to stop for a light snack before getting back on the bus. We would recommend this tour company!

Decadent amuse-bouche! - Richard was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each place and was able to keep the group engaged. For the time limits that we had, it felt like you got a lot from each location. If you want a good feel for each place like an amuse-bouche this is a perfect trip for you. But if you want long periods of time then you should consider doing day long adventures in each location. Driving through the countryside is also a big plus! I would definitely recommend this trip to see what the west side England has to offer.
