Fabulous experience combining gastronomic exploration together with learning more about the history of Manchester - Rob who is the founder of this Tour experience is a really fun and interesting guy, who kept us entertained and interested throughout the tour. We visited a number of very interesting food venues, and sampled some dishes that ordinarily I would not have experienced! I really enjoyed the combination of exploring different flavours together with learning more about the history of Manchester! Everything ran very smoothly, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon! We were also very fortunate to have lovely weather. Highly recommended as an experience to share with family and friends or business colleagues! I think the tour offers good value for money! An Amazing experience - Our Scranchester experience was absolutely brilliant. Rob is an excellent guide & has a great knowledge of history. We went through some amazing places, and I don’t know how I’ve missed those spots & places before. We also had lots of different & scrumptious food. I will highly recommend this tour to our friends. Girls on Tour - We’d already enjoyed the Ancoats tour with Rob a while ago so this time chose the Eat the City tour. Lovely Steph greeted us at the Craft & Design Centre. We’d had a courtesy cuppa and Steph had bought us delicious custard doughnuts from Siop Shop. She gave us an enlightening tour of the art trail. We had fish tacos in Mackie Mayors, washed down with a lovely cider. More information about Sinclairs Oyster Bar and the Royal Exchange Theatre. Steph was fun and engaging, really chatty. Our next pit stop was to Sam’s Chop House where we had their traditional beef hash, a honey pork sausage roll in Tariff & Dale and a choice of ice cream at Ginger’s in Affleck’s Palace. We had an amazing time, lots of photo opportunities and new places to try out and recommend.

Great food tour around the city centre - We really enjoyed the fun and informative Eat the City tour with Steph. We learnt interesting facts about different parts of the city centre and ate in independent places we would not have found on our own. A great afternoon out.

Amazing food adventure - The tour was fantastic. Rob is such an amazing host / guide - the whole experience was excellent ! Would never have found the places we visited, or learnt as such about Manchester in such a short space of time. Would thoroughly recommend !

Outstanding for visitors and transplants alike! - Absolutely outstanding tour with Rob, eating the city. We live in the area but took the chance to have a different look at Manchester with Canadian family visiting. We got a fantastic taste of the history of Manchester with some beautiful food along the way. Really great experience despite the authentic Manchester weather. Would strongly recommend!

Great way to see the city and learn about the culture. - This was my first walking tour like this and it set a very high bar. Rob was an excellent guide—very personable, knowledgeable, and fun to hang out with. We learned so much about the city’s history and ate some great food—stuff I probably wouldn’t have ordered on a menu so glad Rob exposed us to some great traditional food. The other guests were also great with lots of interesting side conversations along the way. Definitely a highlight of my trip to the UK.
