Gem in Guanajuato - I have actually gone on this tour twice in the past year, the first time with Susana and the second with Bere. Both bring their own perspectives and qualities, but for me Susana is an absolute gem. She is a thoughtful historian of both Guanajuato and Mexico as a whole, and I found myself in some fairly deeply philosophical questions and seeing Mexican history in a significantly different way than when I started. I was able to carry that understanding into tours I’ve taken since in other parts of the country, and that has helped me to gain a deeper understanding there too. Highly recommended, especially if you can get Susana.

Great tour for families! - Susana was an amazing tour guide! She tailored the tour to my family's needs, taking us inside a pulque place when my husband happened to pass by and show interested, as well as the funicular when my son saw it from far away and got excited about it. She also gave us tons of recommendations for other parts of Mexico. We only had one day in Guanajuato and are so glad we spent it with Susana because she showed us all of the highlights around the entire city at our own pace. Would highly recommend.

It was just my husband and me and Susana fluidly adapted to focus on the 'off the beaten path' Guanajuato. Susana was born and raised in Guanajuato and her family has lived here for generations. and our three hours flew by at a relaxed and enjoyable pace.
