Brilliant 3 days! - Our guide was Mr Bean(bein) and he was brilliant, we loved hearing his stories and all about Vietnam history. The views were unmatched and we had a great time! The 3 days went by so quickly! This trip really is a once in a lifetime experience! And we were so lucky with the weather!! We felt so safe with the easy riders and had our full trust in our drivers. A few points to mention; We didn’t realise our tour was a private tour until we arrived. This was ok for us and made no difference but a few others we met were caught out by this - make sure you enquire before your trip if you do or don’t want private tour! For some this meant being on their own completely with only the tour guide. The route itinerary was different than that mentioned - we stayed in Yen Minh on first night not don Vang. We also didn’t visit the waterfalls mentioned in the intinerary (and I would have loved this!) accommodation; our first night was a lovely home stay and this suited us, we were able to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere. Not too busy not too quiet - the right mixture. Drinks were cheap and company was good! We really enjoyed it in the Milk Milk homestay! 2nd night not so good. We were in a hotel and it was SO noisy. People on the same level as us were screaming shouting and even tried to open our room door and balcony door. We felt really unsafe and couldn’t wait to get away in the morning. We both had to sleep with our earphones on!(we haven’t had to do this anywhere else on our trip-not even the homestay) And finally, transport. Unknown to us it’s very normal for Vietnamese to pick up and drop off their friends on the journey! Don’t be surprised if you stop off multiple times for the driver to deliver items or drop someone off. On the way home we were on a sleeper bus which was way better and comfier - but the itinerary said back for 10pm and we didn’t get back until 12pm! This meant the last day was super long as up for breakfast at 8am, riding back to Ha Giang then on a 8 hour bus! The bus then stopped off just close to beer street and not our hotel (wouldn’t have been so good if we were on our own). As a whole, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this tour. You see things you would never see again! The other points are more so you are aware! But they shouldn’t ruin your trip and they didn’t ruin ours. Thank you again!!
