Our tour guide will pick you up then we will start our Hanoi Old Quarter Walking Tour. The first destination of the tour will stop by Hoan Kiem Lake, considered the heart of Hanoi. You can observe many locals interesting activities such as playing badminton, doing exercises. - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Then, we head to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex. A traffic-free area of botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas. Within the complex are Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the One Pillar Pagoda.
- Temple of Literature & National University - Temple of Literature & National University is originally built as a university in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, scholars and sages, the building is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture. Visiting the Temple of Literature you will discover historic buildings from the Ly and Tran dynasties in a revered place that has seen thousands of doctors’ graduate in what has now become a memorial to education and literature.
- Hoa Lo Prison - Hoa Lo Prison ironically nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war (POWs) during the American War. Most exhibits relate to the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, focusing on the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France.
- Vietnam National Museum of History - The museum is now housing over 200,000 objects and materials which are relics of Vietnamese history flowing from pre-history to the present. Among these, many are Vietnamese antiquities and 18 are recognized as Vietnam’s national treasures.

Great intro to Old Quarter and French Quarter - Hanoi - Anh (our tour guide) was pleasant and well informed. She was able to explains the sights in details and answered our questions well. I recommend this tour highly for any first time visitor to Hanoi. Don't forget to try the Coconut Coffee at the The Note Coffee when you do the tour.

One day tour in Hanoi - Our guide, Tran Khanh Ly, brought us around Hanoi today. Thanks to her we could enjoy and visit the main sites, but even places that we didn't hear about.
That couldn't be possible without her help.

Would do it again. - We had Anh as our guide and she was wonderful. Anh took us to amazing places and was very interesting to find out some of the history. We also stop off to have an a great pho lunch. If we had more time in Hanoi would do this again to see what else is around.

Informative and nice! - We booked the tour on a whim the night before so we were happy that we could still get a tour the next morning. Gracie was our guide; She was nice, flexible, and knowledgeable. We our travelling with children so she kindly suggested a closer stop (the citadel) when she noticed that they were flagging in the heat. Her English was excellent and she is easy to understand!

Disappointing - Guides were friendly and accommodating but gave very little information. Only when questioned about something.
They did walk us to all the sights we wanted to see but it was mostly in silence.
