Wonderful tour!! - Great food, great tour guide! Tried food that we hadn't even heard of. Drank coffee we hadn't heard of. This will stay with us forever. Anh was a wonderful guide. Cannot recommend more highly. A must for anyone visiting Da Nang .

Great morning out! - We took the morning tour with Anh and we ended up being the only guests for the day. He took into consideration some of our preferences and food we had tried previously to give us the best possible experience. Our favorites were the xôi gà (sticky rice with chicken) and the kem bơ (avocado with coconut ice cream). If you're a fan of vietnamese food and want to get a feel for the cooking in Da Nang, give this a try!

Chance to meet locals and eat as the locals do. - A couple of years ago I did the evening food tour with Shaun and had an amazing time. So when I returned to Da Nang this year I contacted him again. He was booked up for the evening tours but suggested that we did a breakfast tour. Which we did. He met us near the hotel and we had a walking tour of parts of the city to get to the various sites. With Shaun, you can tell him how adventurous or not you are about what you eat and he will tailor the tour to suit you. We visited 6 or 7 sites, trying banh my (meat rolls), rice and clams, pancakes, fruit juices, etc. The walks in between courses helped. A very interesting way to see the city, meet the locals and try authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommended - again.

Great time! Highly recommended! - We went with our two boys, aged 1 and 3. Shaun was super relaxed with the kids and let their energy and interests dictate the pace. The food was exceptional and seeing Da Nang by foot is the way to go. Our kids loved the banh mi and the noodle dishes and the parents loved the coffee. We would all go back and do it again in a heartbeat.

Exploring real local awesome food!! - I had a morning food tour guided by Shaun. It was a solo trip so the tour is only me and Shaun. We have tried lots of food in 5 different places. Guests in these eateries are all local people. Some of the food stall are in the alley where tourists not easy to explore. All dishes was tasty with informative introduction. Shaun is very friendly and told me lots of Danang culture apart from food. Definitely recommend to all food lovers who want to explore authentic local ambience and taste.

Exactly what we wanted - After arriving in Da Nang at 5pm we decided to book a food tour on a whim, for the following morning, and so glad we did! Met with Shaun early the next morning , where we started with Bahn Mi, and a discussion of what we had tried so far, to help Shaun tailor the rest of the tour to our tastes. Over the next 4 hours we visited 5 different locations ( none of which i would have tried without his guidance).. and all of which were utterly delicious! On top of the Food we chatted about local history and Vietnamese culture, which was really interesting and made the rest of the holiday more enjoyable. Really great tour service...heavily recommend!

Best local food experience - I took the morning food tour with Anh. I got to try 6 dishes and all were very delicious. Each place was very local and without Anh would never have found or tried by myself. Highly recommended.

Should be ranked #1 - My husband and I were on a small cruise ship and we wanted to take a private food tour when we got to Da Nang. Shaun's tour was recommended to us by a food photographer from NY who knows a thing or two about food...and she was right on! We can't speak more highly of Shaun and the morning that we spent together walking around sampling the cuisine and it's preparation in Da Nang. Shaun is extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and since he's fluent in the language, the perfect person to led the way through tiny outdoor food stalls and markets plus the small restaurants that you'd be hesitant to go into on your own because they look like only locals eat there! We totally rank him #1 as the one best things you can do in the city.

Right to the heart of da nang - We were collected from our cruise ship and spent most of the day with Shaun . We saw and enjoyed experiences we would never had found by ourselves. The rice wine visit was a highlight when the owner opened especially for us great stuff that wine. Fabulous coffee in a coffee shop and a great tour including a local market where I saw things I will never forget .... the hairdresser sharing a stall with the fishmonger was a first . Lunch was in a really authentic restaurant joined by Shaun’s Vietnamese friends lots of sign language food and beer made it the envy of our fellow cruisers when we returned . Thanks Shaun for a great day
