Getting out of the ordinary - It’s really cool to experience different things apart from the typical activities in NYC. We got to do some exercise and enjoy the amazing view of the Skyline. Definitely the best plan for an evening with your partner or friends por

NYC Skyline AM Kayaking - We were able to book an early 9am kayaking small group out of the Jersey side of the Hudson which provided excellent views and photos of the Manhattan Skyline. Staff were very helpful and patient while alert to our environment. I would strongly recommend this tour and the AM slot given the lower maritime traffic and summertime temperatures.

AMAZING - Kevin was an amazing guide. Him and his crew made our first time kayaking feel like professionals with the excellent guidance before we departed. He showed us the basics and provided some cool details about the surrounding area. The view alone was worth the trip.I would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Unreliable tour - I was scheduled for the tour to start at 11:00 but it shifted to 11:30, so I had to cancel. It would have been a great activity for out of town travelers to appreciate, however the service ended up being unreliable. Our family had other prescheduled activities and perhaps we could have made it work if we had been notified in advance.

They almost flipped us over at night in the river then yelled at us we when complained. - What an unbelievably unprofessional and hostile experience. Avoid at all costs. Go spend the money at one of the nice bars there and you will even get better pictures as well. “LED night tour with amazing views of the city and the Statue of Liberty” First of all, you never leave the dock area. You will see boats for 90% of the time and never see the statue. Our boat had no lights and the ones that did basically had a glorified glow stick tied underneath it. The one time you might get a decent photo is by the Colgate clock but more on that in a minute. You DJ is basically one song selection that each kayak picks, so it’s basically a Spotify stream coming from one power boat that drives around and you can’t even hear from most of the times. Parking is insane. There’s a lot run by parking attendants that are constantly yelling at people and sound like they are on drugs. Once on the water, there is little logic to the process. They constantly give conflicting directions and it made it impossible to stay with our three boat group. Every time we tried to team up for photos, they yelled at us to keep moving. Once we tried to stop to take photos with the skyline in the background, one tour guide told us to move up for better photos….so we did. As soon as we tried to setup for photos where they told us to go (which are impossible due to lighting), a different guide came racing over in a boat to yell at us. They turned in front of us aggressively and yelled at us to get back. This churned up the water and almost flipped us over in the Hudson at night. This was reckless, dangerous and should’ve been completely avoided. Once we got back to the docks, the captain claimed that “he did that for safety”. He insulted our party, claimed that we were the real threat and then finally accused the designated driver for the group as being drunk. What a way for them to help us remember a special night out for our group together.
