- Meteora - Breathtakingly surreal and serenely spiritual, the Metéora monasteries spring forth from a dreamy landscape of rocky megaliths in the plains of the Thessaly Valley. The first hermits came to this far-removed corner of Greece at least as early as the 11th century to withdraw from the world and contemplate divinity. Christian Orthodox monks began building monasteries here in the 14th century. Originally 24 monasteries stood at this astonishing location, built onto the edges of vertiginous cliffs or perched on sheer sandstone formations as high as 300 meters. With their exalted heights and almost mystical inaccessibility, the Metéora monasteries seem to soar towards heaven and reflect the human striving for holiness. Please be modestly dressed. Women are suggested to wear long skirts & long sleeves. If you do not have, you will be given a skirt in your way in.
- Battlefield of Thermopylae - On your way back to Athens, stop at Thermopylae, where one of most epic battles of all times took place. 300 Spartans faced the Persian army and stopped them for 2 days. See the battlefield and the statue of King Leonidas.

Magical Meteora - Nathan our driver was absolutely wonderful. He provided a history lesson on the way to Meteora and was very accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our experience an enjoyable one.

Meteora - Anthony did his sensational job and we really enjoyed him leading us on the trip. He pointed out many highlights and picked a great location for lunch and was very informative and I would highly recommend him to anybody. He was the best tour guide we had on all our excursions and Athens.

Great trip: Our guide George was a good conversationalist and very knowledgeable. Thanks George 👍🙏 - Our guide was so knowledgeable and great to talk to about all things Greece and Meteora. While the trip was long, we really wanted to see the monasteries in the sky. George made the ride enjoyable and we will treasure the memories of this day.

Just perfect. Our private guide Anthony knows what you want and what you need at all times. On top of all the details. - Anthony was excellent. On time, perfect vehicle, had waters for us and a nice local present at the end, he is kind and smart, knows the area like no other, reads what you wants, when and how, just excellent. Highly recommend. Deserves nothing but the best review. Very good english. Kind and respectful. Astute and diligent. Anthony is a must if you are looking for the perfect guide. I am a 9million miler traveler, habe been to 170 countries, trust me when I tell you he has been one of the best witoa doubt.

Has to be seen to be believed! - We were apprehensive of booking a 12 hour day trip due to our limited available time in Athens. We were not disappointed! Terry our driver was fantastic and took us to every site we requested. He even bought us an anniversary gift, so kind! We had a great day and the view is unbelievable. Excellent way to rememeber our anniversary. Not the cheapest tour, however is is a very long drive from Athens. Terry was on time and nothing was too much trouble for him. fantastic.

Great tour! Don’t miss it! - Our family trip to Meteora, with the company “Crispy Local” was fantastic. Our driver was on time, friendly, fun, and full of good information. He knew how to make sure we got the most out of our time there and took us to some beautiful spots for picture taking. He also took us to a place in town to have a wonderful meal before heading home. The views were spectacular. This trip was one of the highlights of our entire Greece trip. Don’t miss this trip!!!

Rain did not ruin our fabulous day and our driver made it terrific - We were determined to see the monasteries regardless of the torrential rain that never let up. Our driver was excellent and listened to the the list we prioritized to see. He took us to each of the 3, and then surprised us! He remembered we’d told him early in the day that we at least wanted a picture of the one from the James Bond movie, since we knew it wouldn’t be open. He picked us up from the 3rd and told us another driver said it was open unexpectedly, since it had been closed for the recent holiday. We were thrilled and it was one of the very best! Thanks to him for listening to us and caring enough to make it happen!
