  • The Everest Base Camp Trek is not a technical trek, it is possible to trek with a basic level of fitness, a good training plan prior to your Everest Base Camp trip will make that much more enjoyable and it doesn’t require any climbing skills. We have seen many different ages of travelers are completing this trek like old, young, overweight and underweight and they all are very much appreciated about the journey, as a non-technical trek that does not require crampons, walking poles, oxygen cylinders, ropes, and technical equipment. But our company will be provided the warm down jackets and sleeping bags if you do not have your own. A normal EBC trek is accessible to most trekkers who have some genus of fitness level and decent drive with a lot of stamina to last two weeks on the cold weather in the mountain.
  • if you could convenience yourself to take some normal pre-training courses like daily physical exercises, jogging, running, climb the staircase and walking down, cycling, swimming and hitting gym etc that would be greatly helped to accomplish the journey easier.

The meals are served by our company as per our inclusive way which is included on this Everest Base Camp trek program. Basically, the foods are provided in the same tea house where you stay overnight and there are no outside foods is allowed according to the rule and regulations of the local community but you can simply take the normal snacks, water and drinking stuffs from outside as you wish which are allowed. In order to complete the 12 Days Everest base camp, the food is one of the most important factors that you really need it to hike in the Himalayas. The meal in this trek is very convenient and fresh except meat items, usually, we take our breakfast and dinner at the same lodge where we stay and for the lunch, our trekking guide will be chosen every day at the best place possible along the way,
  • Food during the trek, you will have full options to select your preferred meals items from the menu which are provided by the local tea houses, the Menu offers verities of ethnic cuisines foods as well as western styles meals including Sherpa stew, Fresh vegetable items, Rara noodles, different soups, handmade bread items, rice items, spaghetti, pizza, eggs, potatoes items, Apple pie, Dal Bhat and various of drinking like Black tea, lemon tea, Hot chocolates, Ginger tea, Milk coffee/tea, green tea, black coffee, Lemon ginger tea are available on menu in this trek. The meals are quite surprising on this trek then other trekking routes Like Annapurna and Langtang regions of Nepal, all are selected items from the menu of the lodge will be fresh, hygienic and tasty. Some places, there are non-veg item meals are available however we do not recommend to take these meat items in the Everest region as they are not hygienic and healthy during the trek. The fresh and healthy meals during the trek like Dal Bhat, Vegetable items and soups items ( Garlic soup, potato soup, onion soup with the food, ) are recommended which are prepared by the local supplement and do not store as a long period of time to serve it.
  • The water is available everywhere during EBC trek which cost around 2-3 dollars per liter of botels or you can also use the normal tap water for free but water purification pills are required to filter. And we would like you to take a separate proper bottle for hot water reason because cold water cannot be fit every time in the high altitude area and it’s too cold.

Amazing breathtaking Everest Base Camp trekking!! - From the moment me and my friends landed in Kathmandu and met Tek Gurung, our guide for Everest Base Camp, we felt welcomed and knew we are in good hands. All the planning for our day to day trekking were communicated to us in details at our daily meetings. All the questions and concerns about weather, teahouse accommodations, altitude acclimatization were resolved with caring and kindness. I appreciate Tek and our porters Teks, Sanjay, Robin for their attentive touch, humor, carrying our bags and constant positive attitude and smiles! It made some challenging moments of our trekking easier and always enjoyable! Thank you Tek for your professionalism, amazing expertise and taking many many pictures of me and spectacular Mountain Views! Breathtaking views of Everest with the best guide in Nepal, amazing experience , must use Tek BAHADUR as your next guide - Our guide was Tek Bahadur Gurung and he did a phenomenal job explaining to us all the various breathtaking views over the past 11 days to EBC. Tek also has photographic memory of the entire 130 kilometers we trekked, always guiding us towards the right path. Tek noticed on the 7th day I could make good use of a pony to take me to EBC from Gorakshep, which was one of the best decision he made for me, otherwise I could not reach on my own. Teks ability to pay very close attention to his clients’ needs is greatest strength . But in addition to this, he is very kind, and speaks to his clients with an open heart, always having a smile on his face that will cheer up anyone. Last , but not least , Tek did an amazing job taking pictures of all of us, as he has an artistic talent and knows what makes a great picture against a mountain or lake or glacier. Not only would I highly recommend Tek as your guide for your next adventure, but I would recommend him for your next, and next, and next, and next adventures. Super professional , emotionally intelligent guide.

Ebc trek - What a brilliant trip. From the moment we got to Kathmandu to the last dinner. Dil was helpful with arranging everything for our trip. Our guide Sagar was fantastic. Super knowledgeable about every single mountain we came across. He kept us on a good pace throughout the trek. He knew every owner of all the tea houses which made the trip feel a bit more special. But just an all around great guy. We come back in two years and do a 7k mountain with him ;). Honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better journey. Really thankful for the past two weeks sagar. The best of luck to you going forwards. And let’s find you a girlfriend asap. VAMOS! Max and Gait

The besttttttt! - I did the EBC trek with my friends and we couldn't have asked for a more supportive company and our wonderful guide Laxman. We had issues with weather and illness but Alpine Ramble were always there to save the day, going above and beyond! We would've been so lost without them!

12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek - Just recently returned to Kathmandu (today!) after completing the 12-day EBC Trek with my very awesome guide RAM!!!! At the very beginning, the trip was organized by Mr. Dil without any issues. Then from Day #1 to Day #12, my guide, RAM, took the reigns and guided my day to day activity very calmly and with full patience as we hiked along a very challenging landscape with many uphills and downhills. As a solo traveler, I never felt alone in a very challenging environment as RAM made sure I was healthy (gladly didn’t have any issues with altitude) and comfortable with our pace. He even helped, at times, carrying my sleeping bag, most especially climbing one of the most challenging uphill of the trek. Without hesitation, I will recommend Alpine Ramble Trek to anyone wanting to have the experience of a lifetime with Everest Base Camp. The group has a very deep connection in the area and it was quite lovely meeting other travelers through them, that made the experience even more memorable for me. This is an adventure of a lifetime and i’m glad RAM was my buddy for this trip!
