If you’re a lover of the ocean, this sailing journey coupled with a flavorful lunch is the ideal means to infuse some extravagance into your Knysna sojourn. This activity gives a perfect vantage point to marvel at the exquisite landscapes and marine species along the internationally acclaimed Garden Route shores. The itinerary carries you across the Knysna lagoon, through the notable Knysna Heads, and into the unbounded expanses of the deep blue sea. After an exhilarating sail, we draw back to the serene waters of the Knysna Estuary where a medley of Mediterranean dishes is served. Please note, all our voyages are conducted on the sea, and are subject to weather and sea conditions. The final decision on these conditions is made by the ship’s captain, and is dependent on the conditions on the day of the expedition. Factors such as tide, wind direction & velocity, and sea undulation influence these conditions, hence the passage through the Knysna Heads isn’t always certain.

- We have a no-shoe policy on the vessel. Shoes must be removed before boarding. Socks can be worn by those that will feel more comfortable.
