One day in Costa Rica - We were with Marco (tour guide) and Gigi (bus driver) on 9 January 2024 on a private tour through Costa Rica that we put together individually. The tour operator was recommended to us by another family on the Aida and we booked the tour at short notice. Everything was perfectly organised. We were greeted in a very friendly manner by Marco at the harbour in Puerto Limon. After changing buses in the centre, the tour took us along the coast to Cahuita National Park, through Puerto Viejo to the Jaguar Rescue Centre and on to Punta Uva. We received great information during the tour, stopped several times along the way and the two of them introduced us to the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. Marco always kept an eye on the time and we felt we were in great hands. There was water and various local products to try along the way. In Punta Uva, the two of them stayed with our things so that we could explore the beach and take photos in peace. Every question was answered competently and with a smile on their faces. A great tour guide makes a great tour! - We were lucky to have Evelyn as our guide and Gigi as our driver from SYL Travel on this tour. From the start, they asked about our interests and went out of their way to make sure our experiences at each location were the absolute best. They even took us to some off the beaten path locations to satisfy our interests. Evelyn is a trained and credentialed guide and knows both the local and scientific names for the flora and fauna we encountered on our trip. If it wasn't for her, we would not have seen or identified the many plants, insects, and animals is the forest. What a great experience. Thank you Evelyn and Gigi!

Great Tour in Cahuita Park Costa Rica with guide Tony - Today we did a Tour with guide Tony in Cahuita National Park in Costa Rica. Tony showed us a lot of beautiful plants, trees and animals. And he also knew a lot to tell about it. I loved the tour and he is a very good quide.

Tour - The tour was great and very personalized. Friendly tour guides but they could have been more enthousiastic/interested on the tour and to what we can see (like the animals or history of the place). The use of the cellphones was a lot. I think this should improve. For the rest, we got to see great places between Cahuita and Manzanillo and some inside stories about locals (like food or living).

Not a great tour. Our... - Not a great tour. Our guide at the Jaguar park was really boring. Talked more than we had a chance to see the animals. Two and a half hours of travelling to stay there for 1 1/2 hour.
