A wonderful value for money. - We were so impressed with the whole experience and variety of exhibits. Our guide on the Tour was Barry Steele and he was an absolute mine of information as well as being suitably humorous.

International Bomber Command Centre is a must - We were recommended to visit the International Bomber Command Centre whilst in Lincoln . for the weekend. It probably wouldn't have been somewhere we would have chosen and that would have been a shame as it should be on everyone's list to visit. We learnt so much about this history of the Bomber Commands and their importance during the war. The free guided tour was very informative and delivered with enthusiasm and passion. Highly recommend and great cafe on site

Lest we forget our fallen hero's - On holiday in Grantham. We went for a day out in Lincoln and came upon the International bomber command centre. What a find .Three pound all day parking pay in the centre. The venue is smart and assisted by helpful staff/volunteers .The lady explained the format .A free 45 minute guided tour vailable at various intervals in the day by knowledgeable volunteers. We would highly recommend taking this up..There is an additional aspect to the day an interactive exhibition not a museum, this is £10.50 for adults and valid for a year .We decided to do the tour and see how time was going.A very knowledgeable chap ,when one of the group said he was looking for a missing relative in the session he said he would help him at the end of our tour. The guide was very engaging with us all.He explained about the spire the memorial brick plaques and the metal wall with all the names of fallen heroes and the format. There is a metal instalation of airmen which will be going on a secondment soon to Holland. A brilliant sunny day we decided to eat in the cafe superb choice throughout the day from breakfasts to lunches to afternoon tea all reasonable prices. A plus point we sat next to a couple of locals and one guide overheard us asking about some cyclist being interviewed who he told us are active RAF going on the trip to Holland with the plaque and that a Spitfire plane would be flying overhead at 1.40 so we went outside to see this spectacle..We literally ran out of time to do the interactive exhibition but we do plan to revisit at a future date and do the exhibition. Sunday is a good day to visit as less busy in the week there are a lot of school visits .The centre is closed on Mondays. We'll worth visiting. Nina Lane

The Incredible IBCC - The IBCC is an incredibly friendly place where the the staff were very helpful. We took a tour with tour guide Barry Steele whose knowledge friendly manner and fantastic delivery of information and facts was just brilliant. The Exhibition Galleries are a first class educational and emotional journey packed with facts from those who served and experienced World War 2. The cafe serves fabulous food and is very competitively priced as is the well stocked shop with souvenirs and gifts for everyone. It’s a very peaceful and respectful place with incredible views of the Cathedral and Caste.

Outstanding tour at a great venue. - An amazing tour from Neil, who guided us around the gardens and memorial, giving us a great insight into life in bomber command. His knowledge and stories really enhanced the visit and it was included in the £3 parking charge! The views are awesome across Lincoln and it’s less then a 10min drive out from the town centre. Would definitely recommend!!

Peaceful location, great views & fitting tribute. - The theme of the centre is around remembrance, recognition (including victims of the raids) and reconciliation. We thought the centre hit this spot perfectly. We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the site by Phil Davies. A lovely bloke who is ex RAF and had some wonderful and moving stories to tell. I won’t spoil any stories here, but our visit was made better by our tour and Mr Davies was a wonderful guide. The tour was around 45 mins, the exhibition around an hour. Add 30 or so mins in the great cafe and the whole visit would be around 3 hours.

A good family experience of World War 2. - Well set up and very good for families, although several headsets were not working, which was a shame. We felt that it would be even more authentic to have a mock up of a bomber interior, so that the visitors can see just how cramped it was working in this space. We recently visited the Midland Air Museum by Coventry airport and this was the thing that made the greatest impression for us.
