Family Chacchoben Excursion - We had such an excellent experience with our guide Juan and our driver Saul. They were so friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure our group had an amazing time. The private van was clean and very comfortable and the ample air conditioning was a welcome bonus! I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Mayan Ruin Tour - This was an amazing tour. Juan Carona and driver Saul were awesome guides. Very informative, friendly, and nice. Air conditioned van was nice and clean. Would recommend.

Mayan Ruins Chacchoben - Was easy to find. Had a sign with our name. Was very accommodating. Provided drinks, and snacks at no extra costs. Made extra stops along the way with our consent to experience more of the culture outside the tourist traps. Mayan ruins was amazing to see the ancient artifacts. Not much is known of the particular ruins we saw. The temple of the sun was pretty amazing. Was able to climb up parts of the mounds.

Perfect excursion, ask for Juan Corona and Tino - We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion! Juan Corona was our knowledgeable friendly professional and VERY HELPFUL guide! Juan gave us a totally unique Mayan ruins experience with his knowledge of the Mayan culture and ruins.He was so enthusiastic and answered ALL our inquiries. He didn’t skip a beat from the first moment we meet til our driver Tino drove us back to our ship. Tino was also a great teammate! His driving skills were excellent, cautious and timely getting us back in plenty of time for our ship departure from Costa Maya. Tino also gave us a refreshing cup of fresh local fruits to enjoy on our trip back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY and especially Juan Corona, our guide and Tino, our driver! They were beyond GREAT! PS I have an electric wheelchair. Juan and Tino both handled the chair with great care. If you have an ELECTRIC wheelchair call the company for additional information and advise.

Best Chacchoben Tour!! - We absolutely loved this tour! Before the tour, we were emailed helpful info about where to find them just outside the port. On our tour day, Tino (our guide) and Andres (our driver) were incredible! They were friendly, helpful, and provided exceptional service the entire day. They even stopped to get us some local honey pineapple to try and it was the best pineapple we've ever had! At Chacchoben, they had a personal guide ready and waiting for us, Juan Corona. He was amazing, too! He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He had pictures and a pointer to help us see the finer details and examples of what the temples looked like so many years ago. He was also a great photographer and helped us get the best pictures! Overall, we had an amazing time on this tour and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Great experience - This was an amazing experience, Moses drove us and Alma was our guide. They both were awesome and even got us cold water when it was hot. It was fun to learn about the Mayan people and I was impressed with the ruins.

Costa Maya Virgin cruise - Highly recommend Chak Ek tours our cruise ship was delayed a day to a medical emergency. They responded quickly when we advised we would be a day late, rescheduled our tour which was a challenge as there were 4 ships in port, their tour team was awesome! Eddie the driver and Juan Corona were a great team. We arrived early so we had time to sit down and talk before the tour with Juan who is very passionate and knowledgeable of the Maya culture. The drive is about 40 minutes and Juan educated us on the history of the Yucatan and how it became 3 states, Maya numbering, calendar, local vegetation, the differing species that inhabit Chacchoben and history of the Ruins at Chacchoben. We had about hour and a half to explore the different ruins and Juan explained the hierarchy of the differing Maya's that lived in this village which was quite fascinating. You are not able climb to the top but are able to climb some of the pyramids part way up. Juan provided cold water and adult drinks as it was a bit warm as expected. Overall Juan was one of the nicest and best tour guides we have experienced in our travels, he genuinely cares about the Maya's and tries to educate and preserve the culture.

Over and beyond! - Tito & Julio were great! But the real star of the show was Carlos! I want everyone to meet this group! They were excellent kind and friendly! Even when I couldn’t walk up the ruins I still had a ball! Educational timepieces were explained fully and I’m soooo happy with this experience!

Perfect Excursion for visiting the Mayan Ruins in Costa Maya - I booked this excursion for a cruise and I'm so glad I did. We had no trouble finding the check-in area and were warmly greeted and offered beverages. No others had signed up for the ruins so we ended up on a private tour! Our driver Tino was so friendly and also had a teenage daughter so he totally understood how to humor our 14-year-old daughter. During the ride, he gave us a lot of information on the region and told us what to expect at the ruins. Juan Corona was our guide for the ruins and he was excellent. He managed to show us everything and did a great job avoiding the crowds. He was great with my daughter and even showed us some Mayan math. He also went above and beyond to take sooo many great photos for us. When we finished, he brought us to Tino who was waiting with delicious mango and pineapple in cups. This was the absolute best way to end our visit. We returned with plenty of time to explore the port. Top notch experience and I'm a very picky New Yorker.
