Merzouga - The 2 Nights Camel Trekking in the Merzouga desert starts in the late afternoon. We arrange the camel ride for two nights in the desert from a hotel near the sand dunes. During this trip, you’ll explore two types of desert sand dunes and the black desert near the Morocco-Algeria border.
The trek will lead you to the highest sand dunes in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes (Merzouga desert). This is a fantastic opportunity to capture beautiful photos of the sunset and sunrise from the tallest sand dunes.
Upon arriving at the camp, we’ll leave the camels and take the sandboards to climb the highest dunes for sunset views and sandboarding. At the camp, enjoy a delightful dinner and Berber drum music around a fire in the middle of the Sahara desert. It will be a magical night with a clear sky and sparkling stars. Spend the night in a private nomad tent.

Merzouga Desert - Waking up early in the morning is essential to witness the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. After breakfast, we dedicate the day to exploring the Merzouga region, which boasts incredible sites such as sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil areas, and beautiful oases, perfect for various outdoor activities.
We begin our journey in Merzouga by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Next, we visit a nomad family in their handmade woven tent, learning about their lifestyle while enjoying Berber tea. Our next stop is Khamlia village, where you can enjoy Gnaoua music and dance performances. The inhabitants of Khamlia originate from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After some free time for lunch at a restaurant, we take a stroll through a palm grove before heading to the camp for the night.

Merzouga Desert - In the morning, after a shower and a hearty breakfast at the desert camp, we will drive back to Merzouga.
After two full nights of camel trekking in the Sahara Desert of Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi Dunes, we return with a wealth of memories, photos, and incredible experiences from this unforgettable adventure.
