Great trip from Naxos - We experienced a perfect day with our guide Antonis as we explored Delos and Mykonos. Everything was well organized and the timing was perfect. Great day trip from Naxos.

Our best tour yet! - We had a perfect day with Antonis as our guide on Delos and Mykonos. He was a true professional: in total command of his facts - able to answer any question; polished and engaging in his delivery - able to turn the driest of facts into something interesting and relevant to today’s world; warm and friendly; witty and wise. We have travelled the world for the last 11 months and Antonis has been our very best guide of all. Our boat, the Naxos Star was well equipped and turned out. Everything was spotless. The experienced crew were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The logistics of organising a boatload of passengers who had bought different packages and were going to different locations/doing different things was handled efficiently. However, we were over 30 minutes late departing Naxos island, which meant that our time on Delos was slightly less than we had hoped for. If you are on the full day tour, there is a very long time between breakfast at your hotel (before 08:00) and lunch on Mykonos (after 15:00/ 3 p.m.). Snacks and drinks are imperative., tho these are also available on the boat. Beware: tho we were delayed at the start of the day, the boat left every other mooring promptly on time. Get back on board a few minutes before you need to.

Great Tour! - This was a great tour of Delos and Mykonos! Our tour guide was funny, super informative, and engaging. Delos was probably one of the most interesting places we’ve been to on this trip! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in going to Delos, and curious about Mykonos (but not curious enough to actually stay there 😅).

A memorable day exploring the islands Delos and Mykonos with a terrific tour guide. - Our guide Maria was terrific and she made the tours on Delos and Mykonos memorable. We had nice weather and could truly appreciate the archeological findings on Delos. We enjoyed strolling through the town on Mykonos with Maria and also appreciated our free time to explore and have lunch.

See the islands like a native! - We enjoyed a tour with Antonis Pothitos on the island of Mykonos in October 2019. We had so much fun and saw so many people and places we would not know about on our own. He knows almost everybody there! We highly recommend seeing the Mediterranean islands with Antonis! Don’t delay!

Outstanding experience - We have taken two Delos tours with Antonis, and both were superb experiences. The depth of his historical knowledge is phenomenal; you will learn things about Greek history you would never discover on your own, and he brings it all to life in an understandable way. No visit to the Aegean islands is complete without a Delos excursion, and Antonis is the absolute best licensed guide to take you there!

Great tour guide! - We had a great time on this tour, learning so much about Delos. We also felt this was the perfect taste of Mykonos as it’s not the scene we were looking for but got to learn a little bit about it and see it. Would recommend this tour hands down.

You cannot understand Delos without a tour guide. - The full-day Mykonos/ Delos tour in August was a great way to see the islands. You could skip the lines, and having a tour included in the price showed you areas of Mykonos you would have never found. The female tour guide lived on Mykonos, so she could explain how the locals lived. The archeological site of Delos could only be understood with a tour. The female tour guide put together the history of each remaining building. My only complaint was the boat was rocky, and some guests got seasick; they should use a giant ship. Also, the tour guide leaves at the end of the tour to do her own thing. She was leaving the participants to find their way back on their own to the ship. She should at least bring them back close to where the ship is docked, particularly with Mykonos; if she did this, her tips would be larger.

Best Option! - When researching exploring Delos I had a conundrum: we were staying on Naxos but to have a full day exploration it seems you have to be on Mykonos itself. This tour was certainly the best option. Our guide was absolutely fantastic- knowledgable & engaging- he kept my teenager’s attention the entire time! The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is you don’t get a full 3 hours- only 2 on Delos- which is frustrating. Then they give extra time on Mykonos- I know the others in the group & I wish it were reversed- we did enjoy the taste of Mykonos but it also made us glad we choose other islands as home bases! If you try to go from Naxos or Paros w/out a guide though, you’ll loose even more time- standing in line & then trying to orient yourself w/out expert help. Also there are things our guide explained & showed us that I don’t think you would get from a guide book or audio tour. If you really want a good amount of time on Delos though (there was so much we didn’t get to see!) it seems like you need to stay on Mykonos or figure out ferries from the island to Mykonos & then over to Delos. Currently the museum on Delos is closed & it does get quite hot- so maybe that is why they set it up the way they did, as it’s not easy to get a reprieve from the heat. One thing we did all really love that our guide did on Mykonos, was introduce us to a Mosaicist. She was native, incredibly talented, & gave us a quick but interesting overview & demonstration. Also, listen to tour company and bring snacks & 2 waters per person w/ you!! We hurried in the morning & figured we’d get things on the ferry but there isn’t as much as the bigger ferries- we got coffee & juice (fresh squeezed!) but there aren’t baked goods- just packaged cookies, chips, sodas & tiny expensive ice cream. I really wished we had brought something more substantial because I know by the end I wasn’t paying attention I was so hungry! So listen to them- but get orange juice on board too!
