From Santander, we’ll journey to the remarkable Cabárceno park in a minivan. This visit to the nature park, home to over 150 species of animals living in semi-freedom, will be a feast to your senses. The sea lion and bird-raptor shows are a must-see (it’s worth noting these shows may be cancelled in case of poor weather and during off-peak seasons).

great much better than expected - Wonderful, but if you go you have to be prepared to spend the whole day, we went in at 10:30 ate there and left at 6:30 p.m. (they almost threw us out haha) otherwise you don't have time to visit everything

Idyllic place to visit - It is not the typical zoo where you walk, you have to go by car and the animals seem to have land to be comfortable and calm, what I would not get again is the cable car because every time you arrive at one of the stations they make you go down and you can see almost nothing from above

Cabárceno optimized - A way to optimize your visit to Cabárceno. In our case, due to the wind, the cabins did not work, but we have seen almost all the animals. Furthermore, the guide knows quite well how the park works and its history. I loved the visit. Highly recommended.

Marvelous - It's amazing. We traveled to Solares and went to the park to see it. It was a fantastic experience. The landscape is unspeakable. See the animals in their natural space, outdoors, ride the cable car... In addition, there were very few people and we moved comfortably and were able to observe the animals calmly. We were surprised by how well cared for and clean everything is: the enclosure, paths, and how well all the animals are cared for. A highly recommended experience with family and in contact with nature. Congratulations on the work you do in this unique space.

Excursion for the whole day - Fun visit to the park, we went first thing in the morning (9:30) and we left almost when it was going to close (18:30) it is worth going for the whole day and eating there. If you have the opportunity to see the birds of prey show, definitely do it, but PLEASE respect the rules they set and also keep in mind that they pass very close to you.
The only downside was that some directions for driving were confusing even with the map in hand.
In general, very good and an entertaining plan to do with family, friends or as a couple. It is also recommended to bring binoculars to see the animals well.

Essential in Cantabria - The visit to the Cabárceno park is worth it, especially if you enjoy it with children. The spectacle of the birds of prey is a must if you go and seeing the bears in their nearby habitat is an experience not to be forgotten. Also the climbs on the cable cars. Highly recommended if you go to Cantabria.

A big scam. - Very bad experience, the animals in very bad condition, when there were, because there were parts where there were not even animals such as lynxes. Very little quantity. For example: In the wallaby enclosure there were only four of these and a single emur that was not with its species and had nothing to do with them.
The animals did not have places of shade (or trees), not even the elephants had them, although they needed them to feed themselves.
Not to mention the exorbitant prices. We were 4 people in the mid-low season for a price of €130. The ride on the funicular was also paid separately, as were the shows. I wouldn't go back even if they didn't pay.
