A fabulous experience! - Paolo and Elena were organized and planned a wonderful bike trip on back roads from Orvieto to Civita, complete with informal history lessons. The biking was easy to moderate, and the scenery fantastic. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Day! - The entire day was wonderful! Our group was me and my husband (in our 60’s) and our daughter and her girlfriend (30/31 years old) Our guide was Paolo who was very fun and interesting and laid back. We met him at the train station where there was free parking for our rental car. He and his wife drove us to a beautiful monastery overlooking Orvieto for a brief stop. Then we met Paolo in the countryside where we started the bike ride. The e-bikes were high quality, made by Trek and the helmets were good. I am short but the bike was easy for me to handle. The ride through the vineyards and fields of poppies was fantastic. The views were beautiful and there was almost no traffic. Then we got to a small town where we stopped for the view and a chance to use a bathroom. Then back on the bikes to the base of the bridge to Civita. We parked the bikes and walked up the bridge to Civita. We walked around Civita and went into the church. Very nice. Back on the bikes we took a different way back. At a crossroads, Paolo gave us an option of riding 45 minutes to Orvieto or 10 minutes back to the van. My companions chose the 10 minute ride. I would have loved the longer ride. (There were some steep hills on our ride but with the electric assist they were easy. The bikes allow the rider to choose no assist or among 4 levels of assistance. For the hills I chose “Turbo” and zoomed right up!) So we rode back to the van and Paolo drove us right up to the Duomo where we had lunch at a cafe right next to the Duomo. Lunch was very good and we had a nice bottle of white wine, all included in the tour price. All 4 of us in our group absolutely loved the experience and I was a star for having booked it.

Great experience! - One of the highlight experiences of our trip to Italy. The e-bikes were fun, the countryside beautiful, and Civita was such a unique village to see.

Best bike ride ever! - Pablo couldn't possibly be a better tour guide. My entire family enjoyed the experience and learned so much. He is wonderful with kids and his language skills are so impressive. Civica and Orvieto are wonderful towns. The best way to get around the countryside and take in its beauty was with the ebikes. We felt safe and cared for the entire time.

A perfect outdoor experience through Tuscany - Exactly how I pictured a bike ride through Tuscany to be. We were lucky that the weather was perfect. We met our guide, Paolo, in Orvieto. We then went into the country to pick up our e-bikes. We road for miles through roads less traveled. Once we got to Lubriano, the roads were a little more congested but had no issue navigating it with our guide in the lead. We visited the town of Civita which was a wonderful experience. After some time there, we road our e-bikes back then went into Orvieto for a wonderful lunch right next to the Cathedral. It is a restaurant serving family recipes and their own wine. It was such a wonderful experience and our guide, Paolo, shared so much history with us. It really enhanced the day. I believe anyone fairly comfortable on a bike could do this experience.

Perfect Day cycling through the Tuscan countryside - This adventure was one of our favorites on our 2 week trip in Tuscany. An absolutely amazing day riding e-bikes through the countryside from Orvieto to Civita. For one, the weather was perfect as we rolled through some less traveled roads. With the e-bikes, it is a fairly easy ride and each biker can chose to work as hard as they want to. From Lubriano for Civita, we were on more traveled streets but felt safe and it wasn't for long. Once you get to Civita, you walk into the city which is an absolute amazing city and experience. We then road back to the van and dropped bikes and headed to Orvieto for lunch. Ate a nice lunch which included local recipes and wines. With all that said, the real bonus was our guide, Paolo. He shared so much history with us and was very knowledgeable. Made the ride so much more interesting. To participate, you may want to feel somewhat comfortable on a bike but being e-bikes makes it doable for all levels. I highly recommend this full day adventure.

Wonderful bicycle trip! - This is a wonderful trip. I would highly recommend. And the electric bikes make it an easy bike ride!

Fantastic day!! - It was a marvelous day! Paulo was an excellent guide and so very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The bikes were top notch. The stop at Civita was fabulous, and our lunch in Orvieto after the bike ride was delicious and relaxing. It was a picture perfect day. Thank you Paulo and Elenora. We highly recommend this experience!

Orvieto e-bike tour - An excellent tour of biking, walking, seeing amazing sites and finishing up with a fabulous lunch at Cantina Foresi on the piazza facing the duomo. The two Paolo’s were very knowledgeable and fun guides!!

A ride to Civita for experienced eBikers - In hindsight, we would have preferred a more leisurely meander through the country side. For us this was a bit long and rushed because the destination was 1.5 hours away. Our guide was personable, but not very attentive. We would have liked eBikes with a lower center bar, and more detail on how to use the power options. The lunch provided at the end of the ride, in Orvieto, was great.
