Temple of Karnak - Upon arrival in Luxor around 11:30 am, meet our representative who will help you to check in your hotel in Luxor (Lotus Hotel) overlooking the Nile. Relax or enjoy the swimming pool, then meet your guide for the tour at 3:00 pm and head to the first stop of the day, Karnak Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site. Once within the walls you will marvel at the dimensions of the courtyards and halls of this, the world’s largest religious complex. Wander around this fascinating location with your guide and learn about the many generations of pharaohs that once were here. Excavation of this temple only began in the 19th century and it is still ongoing.
Luxor Temple - Proceed to Luxor Temple, which is among the most beautiful temples in Egypt, and was built by king Amonhotep III from the 18th. dynasty and completed by the great king Ramses II during the 19th dynasty, where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and well preserved statues. Then, transfer back to your hotel for overnight.
