Demystifying Goa's glorious Tavern culture - Unpacking Panjim's bylanes, one tavern at a time and being regaled by the most interesting stories, was the highlight of this tour. Karan Koonan was my tour ambassador, a raconteur par excellence. I absolutely loved visiting some of these places ....where time has stood still in all these years, chatting with the owner , enjoying delicious treats along the way. I know that this is one of the hallmark trails of Soul Travelling , and for a very good reason .

Delightful and Insightful ! - The stories, food and the walk just ensures that you get to know Goa a little more in detail. The walk with Adolfina was as if walking through a living story with a mix of History, Relevance,Food and Culture of Goa.

Trail of awesomeness!! - The lady was so amazing who took us around Mrs Adolfina . She is so knowledgeable and showed us around very well. I will surely visit this trail again.

What an amazing experience! - We had such a wonderful experience with Koonan. It didn't even feel like a tour but rather a local taking us around his neighbourhood to experience the best of Goa. This tour took us through the most authentic taverns with the most amazing food and drinks. The highlight of the tour had to be aires' place which served the most delicious and authentic wine that we had to buy a whole bottle to take back home. I won't definitely do another tour to experience the soul of Goa. Would 100% recommend.

One of the best experiences of my life - Karan Koonar who was our tour guide for the trail took us on a journey I would not forget for the rest of my life. He has a knack for seamlessly integrating beautiful stories from the Portugese culture , the history and definitely showcased some of the best drinks Goa's taverns had to offer. Karan was an amazing Host and I would definitely recommend my friends and family to ask for Karan on their trail cz he is a magician with an amazing taste in food and drinks who goes to great lengths to help us have a good time. Surprisingly, this is where things started getting interesting. We also had Abhirup from "Maka Zai" on our trail. He introduced us to one of cocktails he had come up with using Cactus & Maka Zai' white rum, what a refreshing drink . This would definitely be a great addition to the trail. Having Abhirup on the trail with us definitely elevated the whole experience for my Husband and I. Looking forward to having more experiences with Soul travelling in the future. This experience definitely filled out hearts and bellies.💙

A great tavern trail experience - We did the tavern trail, and it was one of the best experiences we had in Goa. First of all, Koonan, our host, was a great person with a very in-depth knowledge not only of the tavern culture of Goa but also of the history and culture of Goa in general. The taverns that we were taken and the drinks and food we got offered were just amazing, and I absolutely loved every part of it. Luckily, we had a pleasant surprise on the trail: We were accompanied by a representative of the Maka Zai brand, who was actually a fellow guest with us. He introduced us to one of his own Maka Zai cocktail with cactus, and it was one of the BEST cocktails I have had. I would definitely take this trail again when I'm here in Goa for the next time.

Best walk ever - Brilliant and informative, had too much fun and Adolfina was the sweetest and most knowledgeable. Iris's house visit was incredible.

100/10 recommended - It was a wonderful experience, Adolfina is a brilliant guide. Her grasp on history, architecture and food is unparalleled. It was the highlight of my trip to Goa!

Intro to local cuisine - I had a lovely experience with Soul Traveling. I went for the Secret Food Trail in Panjim with Karan as the ambassador. He made the experience very engaging and fun. The hisorical and cultural nuggets that he shared made the trail even better. It was a much needed and great intro to local food. Thank you!

Foodies Trail with Soul Travelling! - The trail walk was SO much fun! This was our second tour with Karan and he is absolutely awesome! Chats with him are fun because he has so many stories to tell, and the way he talks you through all stories is super cool, and we never realized where the 3-3.5 hours of the trail went by. We tried some really old cafes and bakeries and to know the back stories to all the local food was so fascinating! Went back with happy tummies and happy hearts!
