- 2 Rue Ferdinand Flocon - Taste a selection of French cheeses and wines in our Montmartre Fromagerie. Our cheesemongers, Maxime and Nicolas, will take you on a journey through various regions of France, where you can sample all types of milk: cow, goat, and sheep. The cheeses will be accompanied by a wine tasting to teach you how to pair these two iconic French terroir products. During the tasting, we’ll introduce you to the history and geography of cheese in France. Additionally, Maxime and Nicolas will educate you about the different cheese families and their production methods. They will also share fun facts and anecdotes about cheese and wine, making your experience even more enjoyable.
Once the tasting is over, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful Jules Joffrin neighborhood!

Our expert cheesemaker will guide you through the diverse regions of France, allowing you to sample cheeses made from all varieties of milk: cow, goat, and sheep. Excellent - It was such a fun and informative session! Max guided us through a variety of cheeses and paired them with great wine. I’m a newbie, but I saw others with more experience in cheese also enjoying themselves as well! We got lucky with the weather, it was so nice to sit outside the shop, bathing in the sun. Warning: bring an empty stomach since there is so many blocks to try!

Well worth the money! - Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject of cheese making. He really made us feel welcome and made it a point to pour large glasses for each of the wines he talked about. A great experience overall!

Fabulous experience! - We had such a great experience! Max was so knowledgeable and taught us so many helpful tips regarding wine and cheese! We will never be the same consumers of either. We highly recommend this off the beaten path tour, well worth the trip!

My favorite Paris experience! - One of the most memorable experiences in Paris. Max the owner was friendly, knowledgeable, interactive and open to questions. Small group all from different countries but we all spoke English. Met some nice travelers.. The sampling of cheeses and wine and the stories behind them exceeded our expectations. 6 different cheeses and 4 good sized glasses of wine for pairing with the specific cheeses per Max guidance.The price was also a good value. Would highly recommend this on your trip to Paris!

A great experience! - Max was casual yet informative in providing explanations of 6 different cheeses and 4 different wines. There was a format to his presentation in which cheese we tried first, second, etc. The small group of 8 made for good interaction and he responded to many questions. Very friendly, interesting and the French cheese/wine were superb!

A must when in Montmartre - Book a cheese and wine tasting with the amazing Max. Engaging history, knowledge and lovely, warm personality. Speaks great English but happy enough for a bit of French practise. Very very generous cheese and wine portions so go hungry and watch out for the step on the way out. Also, his restaurant recommendation was the best place we ate but I've forgotten the name. Thanks Les Racines, best thing we did in Paris.

Cheese and wine tasting - This was a fantastic experience Max the host so keen to pass on his knowledge about the cheeses and wine he had paired with them we could of spent all day listening. Max has put together an amazing shop and experience can't recommend this enough.
