Well-worth the price - I highly recommend this experience! Manuela was an excellent guide, and we learned so much about not only Monet and Versailles but also French culture and customs. Every stop during the day, including lunch, was very efficient and enjoyable. This experience is well-worth the price.

Giverny Was Amazing! A Great French Country Lunch - The trip to Giverny was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and had time to wander about and visit Monet's house and buy a few items in the gift shop. It was quite crowded, but still enjoyable. and the gardens were just spectacular. We especially enjoyed the lunch at a quaint French farm house that served a delicious 3 course lunch and included wine. The trip to Versailles Palace was okay, but it was a lot of walking and not quite as impressive as I had hoped. It was raining by the time we got there and the gardens in the back were torn up due to planting new lawn, so they weren't pretty. But overall, we were glad we saw Versailles and thought the tour guides did a very good job.

Wish we had more time! - We had a great time, but would recommend going on a weekday to avoid the large crowds of people trying to navigate through Versailles.

Monet’s Giverny/Versailles - Versailles- yes, you can visit on your own. However, you don’t get the benefits of a skip-the-line tour with complete history. Definitely worth it alone to book this tour. Only reason this wasn’t given 5 stars is due to administration. Totally unorganized at checkin point. Given bad instructions by people working there - walk down .25mile for bus which wasn’t ours and operator was nasty to many people. Told to walk back again and again.

Worth doing, even with the huge crowds. - The guide had to deal with another guide not appearing; she handled it quite well. The Monet house was wonderful, though crowded. The lunch was superb. Versailles was over-the-top craziness with the hoards of tourists. Had it not been for the crowds, my experience would have been rated five stars. Of course, I realize crowd size was not under the guide’s control and she did make a real effort to get us through Monet’s house while the lines were shorter. Overall, it was a long day, but a great tour, especially doing two major attractions in one day.

Nice Time at Giverny/Versailles - The trip to Giverny took longer than expected due to Paris traffic, but once we arrived we had time to see the grounds and experience the Beauty and history of Giverny. My wife wishes we had spent more time exploring there, but we had to adhere to a schedule for lunch (surprisingly delightful) in Normandy. We proceeded to Versailles (which also took over an hour). My wife had limited mobility and stayed downstairs ( a very big palace) so we wish that that they issued us maps. I followed our guide and we covered the inside of the palace within two hours. We still had 45 minutes to cover the grounds, but the rain made it difficult to explore the gardens. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Crowded- Great Tour guide. - The Tour was very insightful and educational because we had an excellent guide. Both however were very crowded making it overwhelming and not easy to experience the fullness of each place. The experience without a tour guide is really not worth the trip.

Good, could have been better - Both were beautiful sites, however, Giverny was completely overbooked. There were far too many people at the garden and house. It felt overly commercialized, overrun, and I felt guilty walking through the house because it did not seem like it could handle that many people. Versailles was gorgeous, but because of various road closures in Paris, our tour began late and we had very little time to spend there.
