Thingvellir National Park - The location of Althing, the old Parliament of Iceland. At \
\ingvellir the Eurasian and North American plate boundaries which run through Iceland are clearly visible - the plates are moving apart here and the land between them is subsiding. -
Geysir - From \
\ingvellir we head along the mountains to the world renowned geothermal hot spring area around Geysir. Although the original Geysir is not active at the moment, its neighbor, Strokkur, spouts every 5 or 10 minutes. - Gullfoss Waterfall - Gullfoss means the Golden waterfall and you will not be disappointed there. Gullfoss is actually two separate waterfalls of 11 and 22 meter height. On a sunny day a rainbow will be likely to show up and you can make wishes that might even come true!
- Faxi (Vatnsleysufoss) Waterfall - It’s a beautiful and dynamic waterfall. Just above the waterfall is a common sheep fold and right next to the waterfall you can find some cool salmon ladder.
- Kerid Crater - It’s a nicely shaped pseudo crater formed some 5,000 years ago, with a rather deep lake in the bottom.

Good memories - Very very nice. Tourist guide take care of everyone, and introduce every place in detail. We have been happy and good memories in Iceland.

Best Iceland guide - We had an unforgettable trip! Gunnar is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to show us so many places in Iceland that we never would have seen if he was not our guide. By hiring Gunnar, we were able to just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Iceland. This was the best trip that my family has ever taken and so much of that has to do with the fact that we hired Gunnar to be our guide.

Amazing Trip at Iceland - We did a pre-cruise 2-day private tour at Reykjavik, followed by a 1.5 day tour at port stop Akureyri, amazing experience. The tour company is so knowledgeable & accommodating. Tour driver & guide Jane is super friendly and thoughtful. Iceland is beautiful, a must visit country, and 'Friends in Iceland Tours' is the one you should go with!!!
