Additional Information
Embark on a whale-watching voyage from Reykjavik in search of minke whales, humpbacks, and more. Dress up in the coveralls provided, and keep an eye out for harbor porpoises, white-beaked dolphins, and whales while you navigate the tranquil waters of Faxaflói Bay. During your voyage, your knowledgeable guide will provide informative commentary about Reykjavik’s native marine wildlife. Don’t forget to have your camera on standby to catch sight of these creatures in their natural habitat. Opt for the 3-3.5-hour Classic voyage, or if you’re pressed for time, the 2-2.5-hour Express Cruise on a speedier vessel might be your best option. Please be informed that the Classic cruise departs at 9:00, 13:00, and 17:00 while the Express Cruise is scheduled for 10:00, 14:00, and 21:00. Bear in mind that sailing times are subject to changes depending on the season.

I love Patrick, pay him more! - The tour was absolutely amazing, especially the tour guide Patrick! He was hilarious and informative. Will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. Patrick should get a raise!

Life-time Experience - Hello,
The tour was up and beyond our expectations. Seeing dolphins and whales can be considered as quarantined since the tour crew is highly experienced and conscious of what they’re doing. It is very safe, nature-friendly tour. We’ve attended the tour as family and it was very easy and convenient for us. I’d highly recommend. Thanks to Special Tour team for the experience.

Great customer experience - We went on a tour in May. Hadn’t seen any dolphins and whales the first time we went but Special Tours stuff rebooked another tour for us which I think is pretty great.
Unfortunately didn’t have much luck next time. We just saw few dolphins but no whales.
Anyhow, regarding customer experience I can highly recommend Special Tours. They are very professional and helpful and both of their guides were excellent and shared many interesting stories and information.

Worth it, a must <3 - Great experience with funny Patrick!
Breathtaking experience on a well equipped "boat" (overalls <3 ) with super fun guide - Patrick.
They offer a secend, free cruise in case there were no wheals.

Excellent experience - We would highly recommend this tour. Our trip was April 19th and we were very fortunate to see a large group of hump back whales, plus a couple of minke. The information provided by the guide, a young woman, was excellent and we were able to take advantage of the warm suits provided to spend time on deck.
We felt very privileged to see so many whales feeding in the bay.

Would 100% recommend - It was absolutely amazing. The boat was nice and clean with 3 different decks which allowed you to see at different levels. There's a cafe onboard which was great after been outside and wanting a hot drink. The guide gave lots of information on the whales, dolphins and birds that we saw.

Super Whale Watching in Reykjavik - Our first excursion was cancelled due to weather but the excellent staff at Special Tours worked us in to future excursion as we were leaving soon. Desk staff was exceptional helping us. We could not have had a better experience. When we saw the first whale everyone jammed the deck but they put us on so many whales we were coming inside to warm. It must have been a record for sightings. The guide did an excellent job explaining what we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour group due to the staff.

Unnecessary and unpleasant activity - Unnecessary activity and waste of time.
3 hours in the cold to finally see 2 dolphin fins or small whales.
We wasted our time and money.
