Highly recommend the tour and this service - Amazing sites and very knowledgeable guides. Laguna Rosada is very pretty and get to go up to a viewpoint of the whole site. Rio Lagartos you get to cruise on a speed boat and see wild flamingos, crocodiles, pelicans fly up to the boat, and many more wild animals. Tasty and filling authentic lunch at oldest restaurant in town. Crocodile farm was crazy, being able to feed and take pictures right up next to the crocodiles. Every guide was nice and friendly and spoke good English!

Worth the drive - Tour operator was very passionate about the things we were going to see and did a great job communicating. I really enjoyed visiting the PInk Lakes and felt that it was a one of a kind scenery. Really cool seeing the pink flamingos in the wild, but wished we could have gotten closer. Otherwise, a very good experience.

A must see! - Great tour with Arturo and David. Arturo did an outstanding job translating for our travel group on the bus made up of Spanish, English, French and even some Portuguese! He made everyone comfortable and explained the days activities clearly. Like others have mentioned bring snacks and drinks as this is an all day even from 6am-10pm so the schedule is tight. The water was pink and beautiful. The sun is grueling so be sure to wear spf, hat, and sunglasses. Wear clothes that are fast drying to alleviate the time needed to change if you swim in the lake. Have spare cash for port fees and tips. Be prepared for towels as none will be provided. The restaurant they take you to serves a great meal and they take your order in advance to alleviate a long wait. You will pay for your drinks as those are not included. Overall, I highly recommend the trip and think it’s a must see if discovering the magic of Mexico!

Great sites - We waited a while for our transportation to the tour to pick us up. Then once it arrived, the van that we traveled in was very crammed for the number of people that attended and it was very uncomfortable to be in for the many hrs we were in it, that’s why i took a point off but overall the tour itself was great. I enjoyed the sites that we visited. And our guide Jose was great.

Good locations, poor planning - Overall, the locations on the tour were fantastic. The pink salt lakes at Las Coloradas and the nature at Rio Lagartos were beautiful. I highly recommend visiting both of these places. However, I don’t necessarily recommend this specific tour. We were picked up on the bus at 5:55 am from a hotel in the hotel zone in Cancun. We then sat on the bus for the next two hours as people from both Cancun and Playa del Carmen were picked up. People were then transferred from our bus to another in Playa del Carmen to go to Chitchen Itza. Only then did we start the 3 hour drive to Las Coloradas. Because of the absurdly long bus ride (~5 hours), the rest of the tour felt very rushed. We only had about an hour at Las Coloradas, which was enough time to change into bathing suits to prep for Rio Lagartos and do the 45 minute walking tour with the guide (who was great!). There was barely enough time to put on sunscreen as we began the walking tour in the sun. We were then rushed back onto the bus to move onto the next location without a chance to look around ourselves or visit the gift shop. I very much enjoyed Rio Lagartos. I loved that the guides had the wildlife “trained” so we were able to get up close to them. However, I do wish there was more commentary. Once on the speedboats, I was expecting to be told what some of the flora and fauna we were seeing were, but no one told us anything. We saw many animals (especially birds), but I don’t know what a lot of them were. The food. We were given a brown paper bag lunch as advertised on the website: sandwich, a very small apple, juice box and granola bar. This was given to us around 9am. Since we had been up since 5 and didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast because it was too early for the breakfast at our hotel to be open, we immediately ate it. We weren’t given food again until ~3pm Yucatán time (which is 4pm in the same time zone as “breakfast”). We were also only provided one water bottle, which was not enough considering how long we were on the tour and the fact that it was hot out. We also brought water with us but drank all of that too. We were hoping to be able to grab a snack or a drink during the duration of the tour, however, there were no opportunities to buy food or drink because of the rushed nature of the tour. As for the lunch we were provided, it was delicious, but the portions left much to be desired. If you order the chicken, it may be enough food for some people. The fish options were not very filling. And, again, this was the second and final meal provided for the day. After a long day out in the hot sun on a tour, sustenance is needed…and this was not it. The crocodile farm was cool and fun, but felt like it was slapped onto the end, and again, felt rushed. I did enjoy seeing, holding and feeding the crocs though. We didn’t get back to our hotel until 8:30pm. We drove from the crocs to Playa del Carmen, people transferred to another bus, and then we began to head back to Cancun. The 3.5ish hours on the way home felt like a breeze compared to the 5 hours it took us to get there. However, we had only had two small meals, some cereal we had brought with us for breakfast and not enough water…so we were overjoyed to be back at the hotel to eat and drink some water. Overall, the content of the tour was wonderful and I would do that again. But I would not do it with this tour company/this specific tour. Maybe the people picked up in Playa del Carmen would have a better review of this tour. But if you are coming from Cancun, consider a different tour. And bring lots of food and water, because there’s not enough to go around!!!

GIVE IT A MISS - Los Colorados is not quite pink, more like a dirty orange lake. This was not very interesting as a tour spot, truly. Rios Lagartos is a small charming town but our tour was too short and advertised as 2hours in the boat tour for flamingos.Got maybe an hour/ 20 mins or so.Lunch was good, grilled fish with salsa.Breakfast was pitiful, with only a cheap sandwich of Bimbo bread and sliced meat. The mud bath was fun but didnt have the baby butt softness of skin effect as touted by the tour guide.CELESTUN in season was far more spectacular for flamingos and much longer boat ride.

Scam - Where do I start with this review… completely car crash of a tour. - told pick up time was 5:55am to which the driver turned up at 6:15am - told us the travel time (which is stated in the tour description) was 3 hours to first stop, took 6 and a half hours, as the tour bus driver and tour guide decided to pick up random people on route and drop them to another location before making our journey. - tour guide allowed vendors enter the coach to try and sell plastic phone cases to people onboard. - served a “breakfast box” which was in fact a tiny ham sandwich with a piece of chewing gum… - tour guide made no interaction with everyone onboard, all he done was speak mostly in Spanish and anyone from Middle of coach back couldn’t hear anything. - told us we had to pay a Federal Tax as soon as we walked on the coach, and then advised I was only able to pay by cash or with a physical bank card which we didn’t have present. (So agreed to pay once back at the hotel at the end of the tour) this should be included in the price anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️ - our “lunch” was at 3:30pm-4pm as clearly the tour was running behind schedule, so no food available until then. - when arriving to the boat tour with crocodiles in water, they had no life jacket for my son, as they stated it wasn’t needed which I found hilarious… - arrived to the crocodile sanction where they only spoke Spanish language, so no idea what they where saying the whole time. - then for another 5 hour drive back to our hotel, luckily our hotel was the first drop off point back. We then get on to paying the Federal Tax, which the tour guide followed and waited at my reception, once I grabbed my bank card and returned to the lobby, he told me it was €19 per person, which is incorrect as they advertise it being €16 per person, and then once paid he took a photo of my bank card without my consent, and told me this was proof of ID??? A picture of my bank card….. when I asked him what the hell he was doing, he then showed me pictures of other peoples bank cards explaining it was for ID purposes, I have since rang my bank and cancelled this card so these fraudsters can’t try and use my card. Also note when contacting this agency through trip adviser, they message back in very rude manors and are not interested in helping (have plenty of screens shots available). Please note this was all with a 4 year which they took no duty of care.
