Worst experience - Worst experience of my life. I couldn’t get the hang of the e-bike and kept falling a hitting my left shoulder. Shortly into the trip I asked the guide if I could just wait and have someone pick up the bike. He said to just keep trying and that he would stay with me. He would for a few minutes and then speed up with the rest of the group. I was clearly slowing the group down and just wanted to stop. I felt unsafe. I asked him a few times if someone could pick me up. Finally we came to a cafe for lunch and I told him I wasn’t going to get on the bike and I was going to get a taxi home. Thank God I did because it rained later and I would have definitely hurt myself even more. A woman from another tour company stopped to help me. She cleaned up all my scrapes and asked where was my guide. He was way ahead with the rest of the group. I understand that he had to be with the group, but I just wanted to stop riding. Top Bikes needs to be able to let someone stop riding if they feel unsafe. They also need to have first aid kits on hand to help injured bikers.
