Great if you’re not renting a car - Great way to see Rotorura geothermal sites without a car. Just sit back and enjoy the day. Walking down the hill in the volcanic valley might be a but difficult for people who aren’t super fit, but there’s a bus that takes you uphill. So glad I booked this. Met and solo traveler and we did the Treewalk after.

Good tour, bad copywriting - A solid tour, but minus a star for badly written pick up instructions and Brian’s bad communication skills. The tour itself has a good pace, plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and take photos. Just the right amount of commentary to provide context to the sights as well.
