What an Amazing Experience! - What can I say, this experience was the highlight of my holiday. Ahmed and Shorouk are extremely friendly and welcoming, they put you immediately at ease and give you an authentic taste of what Egyptian family life is like. They food was delicious and they have a passion for what they do. If you are looking for a non-touristy experience in Cairo, this is the one to book!

Authentic Egyptian Experience - What an absolutely magical evening spent with Ahmed and his lovely family. They invited us into their home and we prepared a traditional Egyptian meal and ate it together as new Friends. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic experience with a lovely Egyptian family

Local, tasty and friendly cooking evening and dinner - The dinner was excellent: from the traditional murkheya soup, to just seeing and participating in the cooking, to the lovely conversations.. the whole evening was a blast. I’d give it 200 points out of 100, it was more than good. I did this experience already a few months ago and I still think of this evening very fondly.. wish I could do it again. Don’t hesitate!

Family for Life - Ahmed and his living family is everything you can imagine when trying to connect with the locals on a more personal level. From the moment we meet Ahmed at our meeting point, to the time we left him for the night we feel like family catching up on time missed even though this was our first time ever meeting him and his family. The food and conversation was authentic and tasted delicious. It was a real local experience we’re glad we had. In fact, we have remained in touch with each through WhatApp even after our trip to Egypt was over. I highly recommend you book this day experience!

A true delight: wonderful hosts, delicious food - Ahmed and Shorouk are the perfect hosts: even before we came to their house, we were in contact and they kindly offered their help in all questions we might have. The dinner was a true delight: typical Egyptian dishes prepated by Shorouk (with instructions how to do them I cannot wait to try them at home), with explanations to the history of the fishes by Ahmed. They are both great hosts, exceptionally warm and easy to talk to. And knowledgeable on all sorts of topics. I loved this opportunity to learn about the real Egyptian life of today. Also special thanks for accomodating the date of our dinner to fit in with Ramadan preparations and upcoming family celebrations - shukran!

Hidden gem in Cairo - A delightful experience in a warm and full of confort food surrounded by a real experience of cooking and living in Cairo. Ahmed, Shorouk and their two beautiful daughters open their house and hearts to make us feel like a family member. If you are running out of gringo's fake experiences it is fully recommended.

Great dinner with an Egyptian family - This was a great experience. We did all of the regular tourist spots in Cairo, but here we got to see how real Egyptians live. The food was really good and Ahmed and family were great! Highly recommend.
