Great tour, exactly as listed. - Our Tour of Pena Palace, Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais was fantastic. Rodrigo was very knowledgable and well educated on the history and culture. He was also a great personality and kept us moving onto the next point of interest. I did want to go to see the Initiation Stairs but the time ran out. I would definately recommend him for another tour.

A Fabulous Experience with a Wonderful Guide - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, visiting beautiful areas, with a maximum of eight people in our group. The tour guide can make a huge difference to clients’ enjoyment and I have to say that Sara, our guide, was phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable about every area of the tour and accompanied us into the palace at Sinatra, something not every tour guide does! Her passion and enthusiasm for the history and culture of her country shone through but she also took an interest in her clients and their cultures too. Sara, Pocket Dynamo that you are, thank you for a fantastic tour.

Must book! Great way to see Sintra in a short amount of time! - This tour was such a wonderful addition to our trip! I am so glad we booked! Our guide, Felipe, was absolutely amazing! He shared great historical information during our drive and gave us so much helpful context during the tour of Pena Palace. We would not have been able to learn so much and in such an engaging way, through doing research on our own or by just reading the signs inside the palace. He was so knowledgeable and funny so it made it so interesting to learn about all the history throughout the day. He was also so patient and kind with everyone, and gave us enough time to explore on our own as well. Really enjoyed this day and fully recommend!

Great way to see Lisbon's surrounds - Thank you Rodrigo for a fabulous day! We got to see a lot of Lisbon's surrounds in just one day. Rodrigo is also very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Portugal. Would definitely recommend this tour! Sidenote: This tour did involve a bit of uphill walking, so if you're not very mobile this isn't for you.

Great Day for the Family! - We booked with Filipe for our tour of Sintra, Peña Palace, Regaleira and Cascais. It was an excellent way to see beautiful sites if you have a short time in Lisbon. Filipe was a fountain of knowledge on the history of Lisbon and Sintra and the stories he told were extremely interesting. We had our 2 11 year olds with us and they were enthralled the entire time. I strongly recommend buying tickets into Peña Palace as soon as you book the tour. The other couple on our tour missed out seeing inside the palace as they sold out on the day. We also tried to see the Regaleira but even though we had tickets for that, the line up was so long we didn’t have time to wait. This area is extremely crowded and huge tourist destination so expect crowds when you go there. The parklands around the well are a sight to see even if you don’t get to the Regaleria. Filipe was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and ensured I was prepared for the tour. He provided excellent commentary throughout the Peña palace and we didn’t feel rushed at all during the day.

Saw so much vs trying to do it on our own! - We are experienced travelers and often like to just tour on our own at our own pace but I am so glad that we booked this tour! From booking to pick up to drop off, the day was seamless and relaxed! We rode in comfort in a van with our guide Fillipe. Pick up was easy and punctual and he provided so much commentary along the way about Portugal, history and culture. He utilized a speaker system which made it so easy to hear him anywhere you sat in the van. This tour started at 8 am, most others at 9 am, but it was worth getting up earlier as we had the first entry time to Pena Palace with no lines! We were asked to pre purchase our own tickets for the palace on line, which I did but noticed on the way that I had booked the wrong date:(. Fillipe to the rescue, he was able to speak to the guides at the entrance and we were allowed to enter, THANK YOU FELLIPE! He accompanied us into the palace and gave us a tour which was so much better than just walking from room to room on your own. We then had some time to wander through beautiful but very busy town of Sintra. The coastal drive was enjoyable with a stop at Cabo da Roca and lunch on our own in Cascais. My one suggestion would be with such limited time in Cascais, it would be helpful to have a list of restaurants that are recommended rather than having to figure it out on your own once you arrive. All in all, it was a wonderful day and I would highly recommend this tour!
