- Sonn Tra Mountain - Embark on an enthralling expedition to observe some of the world’s most threatened primates, far from the crowded tourist spots. During a leisurely 3-hour walk along winding mountain paths and picturesque landscapes, we’ll venture into secluded areas known only to the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs, also referred to as Rare Monkeys.\n\nFrom witnessing lively young ones in the breeding season (March to July) to observing dominant males and adults, or simply enjoying the antics of these monkeys in their natural habitat, you’ll gain knowledge on distinguishing between genders, estimating their ages, and even contribute to ongoing research by aiding in the collection of observational data. Our trek will also introduce us to a variety of forest inhabitants, including birds, vibrant butterflies, diverse flora, and occasionally, mongooses.\n\nAs we navigate the trail, I’ll seize opportunities to engage with local wildlife photographers, allowing us to absorb their insights and view their stunning photographs for a deeper appreciation of the monkeys.\n\nOur adventure is not just about seeking out rare creatures; it’s also a chance to discover the breathtaking, hidden vistas of Monkey Mountain, including secluded beaches, which promise to make our excursion an array of delightful surprises.\n\nWe’ll conclude our journey at our starting point.
